This is a scam. The guy called 2-3 times saying he was an officer, etc., etc. Try this: I called him back and when he was on phone he was trying to verify my phone number, ss#, etc., and that he could help me if I called him soon, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da and I told him to just keep talking because I was having a trace run on this $$%*)#(%* number. He couldn't hang up fast enough.

A guy named Officer Hudson called me from this number claiming that there was a legal case placed against me and that my ss# would be blocked if I didn't call him back. I am tired of getting calls like this. I asked for an official company name but all he could tell me was that it was the Financial Crime Investigation Department. But still no company name.

so I just received a call from this number, 206 508 1436 someone asking for "melissa crouch" it was a lady saying it was officer cheryl washington... something about legal status. I know it was a scam.. they should really stop bugging people.

I just received this call a few minutes ago from a lady stating she was cherly washington LMFAO i thought it was a scam i didnt answer phone just let her leave a message and she was stating i had some kind of complaint against my name and ss and i would have to go to court if i did not call her back for some fraud crap LOL these people have been calling me since jan. its really getting old now .

They have called 5 times today from different numbers and different names. Threatening to throw me in jail if I didn't respond. 3 allegations of fraud, money laundering, check fraud. Seriously I am calling the authorities.

Some Officer Max Williams calls me today claims he's the supervisor for some credit investigators company. Take note that he did not at all could speak English and he sounded Middle Eastern, with such an American name. That I have a federal case on me for them giving me a 200 loan sent via EFT. So between me cursing him out he could not give me no dates as the transaction and he had my last four and my PRIOR home address and that I am in the Navy I was like wtf. So again I asked him when the payment was made and he could not answer. Then he gave me this number to contact him back:  2065081436.   Also when I first received the call and hung up they immediatly called me back RESTRICTED...wtf!!! I have not come out of my element is so many years that this man kept pleading with me to stop yellling at him and hung up the phone on me. Prior to him hanging up told me to call him back. This is not why I pay my taxes and serve my country for scams morons to call my phone and TRY to rip me off!

There should be some way to actually bring a lawsuit for harrasement with these people instead of us tax payers being scammed.

calls my work an tells me that im going to jail

SCAM call from this # - claiming to be an Officer Jack Smith from Department of Investigation regarding my SS# - left this # as a return call # - # appeared on my cell as 052569163. Did not waste my time to call back #.  Had called a week ago with other #'s and using another name - same voice.  Would like to know his source for getting my # to prosecute!

I have been rec calls from this number stating that he is officer marques black and that there is a case pending against me and he needed my information. So I started asking questions he couldn't answer and I Hung up. Then he proceeded to leave a very disturbing message on my voicemail. When I got to work this evening I found he was also calling my job.

An man claiming to be Officer Steve Johnson badge number WA2028 (1-206-508-1436) called my home 3 times within an hr., of course this [***] speaks with a heavy accent either Arabic or from India take your pick.  I do NOT allow him to ask me any personal information, plus I know he is attempting to run a scam, so I insult him to the fullest.  With lots of obscenities they don't like that because a woman has a louder voice than this foreign [***].  I also called Seattle's Police Department which they in turn gave me Washington State Patrol's number the badge number is a phoney 1!!!  They urged me to call my local Police to get an investigation started (rolling eyes) yeah like mine will get out of Red Chimney to do anything.  Oops did I type that out here sure did, my bad....   Needless to say I'm gonna have fun with these [***] not to mention contacting the ftc.gov, bbb.org, fcc.gov, and the FBI due to the impersonation of a Police officer (which is a felony)!!!!  :-)

I keep getting calls like this as well!!!!! They literally just called me stating he was Officer Steve Johnson saying there was legal complaint filed against me and that i was going to jail. Same heavy accent!!! Cant believe they really think we are that stupid to give them any information. They are processing with all of their legal action. I cant believe this sh*t. Its ridiculous!!!! I guess I am gonna go to jail becuz I never called him back!!! LMAO

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and may be using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.
