A guy calling from 206 (Seattle) with a very non-Seattle, very southern US accent said he was from the American Disabled Veteran's Association. When I asked for information that would verify his organization as a non-profit, he hung up on me.

Unknown caller. No message left.

Just received a call from the same guy, based on description. Asked if he could send out a support packet- but he needed a $15 commitment before he sent it. Sounded shady, plus my number is on the Do Not Call registry. There is no charity with the name, "American Disabled Veteran's Association," listed at www.give.org. Most likely a scam, and if you want to give to veterans, I suggest doing a little research first.

Asked for head of household,  when I said not available could I take message said there was no message and would call back later.  Didn't identify self or org.

Called asking for money to support wounded veterans. I asked for information to be sent and he told me he couldn't without a 15$ commitment. Then he hung up on me. Seems like a scam to me.

He just called me and asked for me by my name wth

A older man  called and asked if I were the men or woman of the household.than hanged up

This unrecognized number called and left no message.

Same number called me, thought it was my son, so I called back multiple times, but consistent busy signal, so I googled the number and here we are.

Received call on my cellphone. I don't recognize it, I don't answer. No voicemail. I looked it up and here we have Mr. Veteran scammer. I'm blocking it.

I answered after about the 6th ring and no one on the other end of the line.

Same thing for me.   Same guy, same accent, same speel.

Left no voice mail.  Researching the umber, revealed a scam artist representing the American Disabled Veterans' Association.  This person, with a obvious southern accent, calling from Seattle, is soliciting money under false pretenses.  This information came from a site that confirmed with what I just related..
