This unsavory person or persons keep calling about every 15 minutes and do not
leave a message, when answered I get hold on. I tried to call back this number and
the phone number cannot be reached. These kind of people need to stop calling
bothering people. They have called on a unlisted cell phone and I called the carrier and
complaint but they said they cannot help unwanted numbers. Who are these unsavory
    people, they must be stopped.

Caller leaves no voice mail, but keeps trying multiple times during the day. My cell phone is for data-only, so I do not have the ringer turned on. The calls were coming so frequently that I put my cell phone on the Do Not Call registry, but it did not stop the calls. I returned one of the calls and got a voice mail for the Seattle Times that sent me to their "partner" A Marketing Research, saying that they were trying to contact people who have or had Seattle Times subscriptions. I left voice mail (you don't get to talk to a person) saying that they were never to call me again and that I was on the DNC registry. The next day, they tried to call again, and I called and left another message saying that I would start a complaint against them if the calls continued.

This is actually a third party collection agency, hired by the Seattle Times, calling to collect unpaid newspaper subscription bills. But beware, they make promises like cutting you a deal on the bill, like adding 4 weeks for free if I pay. Come to find out, the Seattle Times can't honor that promotion. Don't listen to their "deals!" If you have a billing problem, deal with the actual newspaper customer service, not bill collectors.

called left no message.  I didn't call the number back because I pay by the minute (yes, they are expensive minutes) and because I found this website.  However, this is a new phone number I have only had the cell phone for two days.

Received 4 calls from this number yesterday: 8:08am, 4:29pm, 7:38pm, 8:45pm. No messages left. I wouldn't be suprised if it is Seattle Times because they do periodically spam me with calls asking if I want a subscription (I had a subcription for a month or so in 2007). This is despite the fact that each time I've actually answered, I said no and asked to be taken off their list. For me, it wouldn't be a collection agency, though, because I don't have any unpaid bills with them.

I kept getting these calls from this number 206-652-6022 and never any messages, I got kinda suspicious so I called it back. It turned out to be my seattle times newspaper- (well actaully a vendor called A Marketing Resource or something.) I had an outstanding bill and I have been through some hard times lately was going to be forced to cancel my subscribtion after 15 years of being a loyal subscriber. The rep. ended up helping me with the rate and my bill and gave me a discount to keep me going. I even paid by phone and got confirmation number. I was really nervous after the transaction though!!!! So I called up the real seattle times customer service which I did not know but- is(located in Minnilla, Philipines) and they verified everything that had been done on my account and who the company was! Now that I know how helpful and trustworthy these people actually are, I think I will definitely be doing business with them again in the near future!

I have received calls constantly from this company.
    Starting with:

    7/22/09 - 10:45a, 7:21p
    7/23/09 - 10:40am, 2:23p, 7:24p
    7/24/09 - 10:51am, 2p, 4:41p, 6:40p
    7/25/09 - 10:26am, 11:39am
    7/27/09 - 10:41am, 12:47pm, 6:39pm, 8:13pm
    7/28/09 - 9:21am, 11:49am, 7:02p
    7/29/09 - 10:25am, 11:56am, 1:54am, 4:32pm, 9:07pm
    7/30/09 - 9:07am, 12:04pm, 6:04pm, 7:42p
    7/31/09 - 6:40pm, 7:33pm
    8/1/09 - 9:22am

After 2 separate reports with the DNC registry as my number has been on there since I got the cell phone the calls stopped.  Or so I thought.  They started, AGAIN, on 8/17/09

    8/17/09 - 10:15am, 11:25am, 11:58am, 4:37pm, 8:36pm
    8/18/09 - 9:15am, 5:08pm, 8:26pm
8/19/09 - 9:31am (so far only one today but is only 10:49am)

This is beyond annoying and is mega harassment.  There is no way to reach anyone and they NEVER leave a message.  What else can be done to get these people to stop autodialing?  I mean come on 39 calls?
