Calls each day told to stop

This person keeps calling every day, i told him to stop the first time. Now it's been  the 3rd day. I'm getting frustrated

calls 3 to 5 times a day

Has called me twice today, I have answered both times. Each time they hang up.

I'm 15 and this number is keep calling and I just don't answer

If this is what this number is doing, calling people and hanging up, what is the purpose behind it. Obviously it's a business number. But their not saying anything. I guess I will block it.

I just received a call just a moment ago similar say I got a grant from the U.S. Government.. What did yours say do you think it's legit?

Here is what the REAL U.S. Treasury Department web site says about these calls:

Scammers call an individual asserting that the individual has been awarded a grant or a similar sum of money and request personal information or a sum of money to “release” the funds.   The Treasury does not have such a program.

Likewise, e-mails promising a sum of money and purporting to be from the Treasury Secretary or his staff are false.

We urge recipients of such calls or e-mails to be extremely wary of any scheme requiring an advance payment for a later promise of funds—these are hallmarks of scams.

A similar scam is a caller falsely representing that he is from the Internal Revenue Service or impersonating an investigator from this Office and demanding payment or information.  These callers have been described as threatening or abusive, and tell victims they need to make immediate payment to forestall arrest.

THESE ARE FRAUDS.  PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION IN YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANYONE PURPORTING TO BE FROM A GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND DEMANDING MONEY OR INFORMATION.

No it is not legal. I almost got scammed the same way through facebook - someone going through my friend's account.  They say you're entitled to all this money, and to get the check you have to pay $5,000.  Yeah right.  I reported them to the authorities.  Hopefully they get caught.
