called and phone ring only 2 times. I called the number and person answered "internal revenue service". Hah...must be one of the IRS scam calls. I hung up.

how can I get these scammers to stop calling me 4-5 times a day??  They're calling from a foreign country and can't even speak proper English.  This guy said he doesn't understand why I want my # removed.  He doesn't understand what I'm saying. WHAT?  I can't understand YOUR accent Buddy!

Says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call the number back.  Immediately asks me if message was left on my home or cell phone.  I wouldn't answer and asked who I was speaking to.  He answered "Jim, in the crime investigation unit".  I asked what the IRS wanted with me and after hesitating, he said f+++ you MotherF+++++ and hung up.

Another "Internal Revenue Service" call...sure, and I own oceanfront property in Kansas.

I just got a call from this number and did not answer.  They left a fuzzy sounding message.. woman's voice saying they are  calling to inform me that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. First time I got such a call and it scared me but thanks to your website I realize now that it was scammers.

Received a phone call from number 206-681-9038 saying they were the IRS and a lawsuit was being filed against  me.  On April 7, 2016 at 2:10  in southern AZ I picked up the phone and heard the message which upset me. I am 91 years old and have Parkinson's this should not be allowed.

I received two calls today (4/8/16) from 206-681-9038.  A message was left, since I did not answer, that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call back.  Two hours later I received the same call.  I suspect scammers.  I did not return their call.

Anytime the IRS has a problem with your taxes, they will always mail you a notice first. The notice will have a telephone number for you to call back. They never call you before they send a notice.

Received two calls today (4/11/16) from 206-681-9038. They left a message the first time and out of curiosity I answered the second time. Recording about the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. Obviously a scam. I did not return their call. I suspect that if this were really the IRS I would get a letter in the mail.

I just received a call that IRS is filing a law suit against me. I decided to check the number and found I am not the only person getting this same call. I do not intend to call them back!

Got a call on my cell phone from 206-681-9038.  I called them back and they said "IRS" when they answered.  I immediately knew it was a scam since he had an Indian accent.  Said they had a warrant for my arrest.  I told them to go ahead and arrest me because I could use free room and board.  I do not owe the IRS any money.

They've been pestering me all day. They've called me at least 7 times today. It's driving me crazy.

They just did the same thing to me, called and left 3 messages in a woman's voice that was robotic, but I did call , the one who answered obviously doesn't know much English, enough to ask me my name, I said you should know that, you called me, when he said a name, I said nope not me, he quickly Said, get off the phone then!! 😂😂😂

Got a phone call not long ago, saying that they are filing a lawsuit against me. and for me to call them back.

They called me 5 times. I called back and played along with a John Doe wasting his time. After figuring this out 5 minutes into the call he said [***] you, muda Fuka. Horrible English.

This is a total scam originating in India and Pakistan.  Don't fall for it.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.  There’s  no way to stop the calls from being initiated.
