They wanted me to claim my "free" U.S. government personal grant. I just had to go to Western Union and pay $250 (which would be refunded within 15 min.)

They said i get 9,000 for free just go to a western union and a deposit of 250$ and then ill get that money back..i had my boyfriend call them to and give same id number and they said the same thing to him. Yep scam.

People are trying to make extra money on those who still believe that they can receive money for no reason... haha really??

Got a call from a person saying that I'm going to receive a grant from the U.S. Government. Gave me a confirmation number and to call this phone number to give the confirmation number. It's a scam. I get these calls often.

I had two calls from 2 different numbers: 202-407-9185 and 216-331-2326. Gave me a confirmation # NS 426 both times and to call a number back. That number was: 206-866-5561 and 202-738-1191. They claim that I had a free $9,000 grant from the government that I didn't have to pay taxes on or payback. The call back #'s both stated that I had to pay a $250 security deposit and need an extra $20 for the fee that Western Union would charge me. I told them I had to come up with the money. And they gave me an hour to do so and call them back before going to fill out the form at Western union, because they needed to help me with that. This is a scam. I have received calls last year about this same thing. But they said I needed to buy a green dot card.

They need money bad.....why can't they send a cashiers check in the mail.... If its free

Mike Morten US Government grant from unknown source. Told me to call this number and give MA3509. Did not call but googled.
