I received a call from this number and was told they were calling from Washington, D.C. and that I was randomly selected for a government grant for a large sum of money... Is it a scam???

Sarah we have also received this same phone call and they want you to give them $350.00 supposedly refundable. I am pretty sure it is a scam.

We have also received a call from this same number and were also told we could get a government grant for $7000.00 and it would cost $350.00 refundable. I am POSITIVE this is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I don't know of ANY government grants that you have to pay to get the grant.

Scam...I couldn't understand the person on the phone.

This number called me and said I could get 8,500 dollars after I wire them 350.00

They just called me and said they got my information from the government for money. SO i asked them for there name number that actually works what part of the government provided my info and many more questions they hung up.  SCAM

Yeah well, actually I've received a call from this number then kept calling and harassing me. They told me the government only selected a few people in the united states for this one in a life time thing.
