they call me that i was going to receive a $7,000 grant and then ask me to go to a western union and deposit $280 to their account

They just called me and told me the same exact thing to so what did you end up doing and did you give them your bank or credit card info as well?

The same exact thing happened to me today. I reported them.

They have my home address information and says, they called from a US Grant department and tried to offer $7000 of grant to me.  They asked you Facebook account/ email/ age/ single or married/ and keep calling...  

This is obviously a Scam.  Be aware.  I stopped the call.

They called me on Friday and said the same thing. This is a scam. Don't fall for it.

The card information you have is not active.  I am reporting you to the attorney general.

They called me today and told me to send money order $280 by westren union for receive  fedral grant $ 7000 money.

yeah they tried the same thing with me, I have been looking them up and can't find anything about them, besides that they are calling people saying us grant money of 7000.00.. I would not do it , during the conversation he tripped on his on words and asked that i do not tell people that i am getting a grant so that i will not have to pay taxes on the money...   BE AWARE....   Money don't grow on trees

got a call from these people,played along just to be able to inform others,tripped over his words is a under statement!he let me know that i have been chosen to get $7000.00,because i have a perfect credit history,pay my taxes on time,and not to let anyone no at the western union place that i am receving a grant! wow i thought to myself,these people have me mixed up with someone else!because like most hardworkers ,unlike these scamers!!!!!!!! we all have been hit with our credit scores going south,i told that i have a very poor credit rating,and that me and the irs is not up to date,he replyed with how long will it take you to get to the western union?and i answer it will take awhile! meaning uh never!!!!!!!!!!!.

Today I just got scammed by this number 206-866-5933. They said I got a 7000 dollar grant but would get 8200 if I paid 680 to Western Union after I already gave them 280. I feel cheated and hurt and very stupid, but I did not give them the 680 cause they already took the 280 from me. Why should I be broke for them??Very stupid of me.

I received the same call 2 days ago. Report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General. They need to be stopped. This phone number is associated with all different types of scams.

They tried to get me as well... Don't trust them.... There are lots of scams out there report them every which way there is no such thing as free money..... It is all bad...

Everyone works hard for there money gets a call from these [***] about 4 times a day on weekends too, theyre out of the country im sure they wont get caught just report it to the FTC commision BBB and also your local phone company if you are paying cell phones they . They try to come across as pros but stumble on there abc's and don't know jack! Sorry for the poor people who are paying them money we as consumers have to let our representitives know the sitiuation because they have personal address infor names and where you live and contacts, probably facebook hackers! They said I had to send them $380.00 to receive  $7,000.00 and I hung up on his ass! but I'm sure this is a scam you should never have to pay for a government grant!
