Informed me that I have qualified for a 9,000.00  Loan from the Government that I do not have to pay back and gave me a phone number to call in Seattle , Washington

Total Indian loan scam.  There is no loan, but there is an upfront fee.  Which of course they want in an untraceable form. Upfront fees are illegal in almost all US states.

received the same call, when I asked what company he was from his said a finance company. I then asked which one and he bacame angry lol. Have him on voice mail.

This morning I received a call regarding grand prize from finance department prizing 9200.00 dollar- and gave me approval number and the same phone 206-909-1040. When I asked it this fake? and she said it is real, again she asked married or unmarried for verification, I think the same lady pls take action on this number

Just got a call saying I was picked for a $9200 grant that I never had to pay back but had to pay $189.00 up front to get the money. Told them I knew it was a scam and hung up

Just received a call from 206-905-1040. Lady I spoke with was supposedly name Christie Williams her ext 357.
About a loan never had to pay back. Address she gave me when I asked for a comformation address was u.s government grant department.

It's sad. None of thay was real can't find the address on maps and the website doesn't connect. But it's cracked me up.

I received the call before and I hungup the phone since I know the Grant process is not that easy. This call I decided to play along and in the process you get three options  get the money which is Dedit Card, Bank Account or Western union, I chose western union but in order to get the money they have to verify my information which I did with all bogus information which the foreign voice on the Phone would have know if they had my info and if they were America.  I was told to call back (206) 905-1040 (1040 makes it ligit) LOL with  the confermation number NY001.  Needless to say I did not call

Just received a phone call from 20-268-9578 - that's how it showed up on my caller id.  They have called my home several times today, and when I answered I had been given a grant for $9200.00 because I was a good citizen by the US Government.  I almost busted out laughing because when is our government going to do such a thing.  Well then he gave me a grant approval # and told me to call 206-905-1040.  Asked me if I had any questions and I said of course I do but needless to say I know this is a scam, and he whole heartily said oh no it's real.  SURE!!  Not gonna bother to call but these guys need to be stopped.

Has anyone actually paid the money? They just called me as well.
