Just got automated message that "IRS" is "filing lawsuit".  Total Scam!

Just got an automated message about some open case.  Probably a debt collector phishing up a scare to get me to call them with ANY info and grasping for a least a straw.

IRS Scam

Received a robot/auto call from 206-905-1430 claiming that they are IRS that I should call some other number to settle a lawsuit. When I called back to the original number, a lady with heavy accent claimed that she was IRS Agent. When I started inquiring about the location as well as their office/operation, she stated "go to hell" and hung up. This is total scam designed to defraud innocent people. Be aware.

Phone message left on my machine in woman's voice says "there is a lawsuit against you, you must call our private line at 206-905-1430".  Very funny if they think they'll get a cal from me.  If there is a lawsuit pending against me,  I'll expect paperwork in the mail.   I just worry that the elderly and those not well versed in the language or the laws will panic and call to settle things and give away either money or personal information DO NOT FALL FOR IT OR GIVE THEM ANYTHING.  IT'S A TOTAL SCAM.  DO NOT CALL THESE SCUMBAGS.

Got one of these on 12/18/15, said the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  This is a scam.

Message on answering machine stating it was the IRS and they were going to file a lawsuit. Total BS.
