They called me 14 times in a row, I never answered because I didn't know the number and they never bothered to leave a message so I figured it wasn't important. glad to know it wasn't anyone I know.

I just got a robocall from these guys at 10 AM today, and prior to that, I told them I was on the DNC list, so they aggressively called us 3 times in a row in less than 10 minutes. Reported to the DNC complaint line.

It doesn't matter if you're unlisted or not. Telemarketers use a technology that's best known as "war dialing", where the computer randomly dials every possible telephone number, and listens for any human voice that answers. You may know it better from the movie "Wargames" where the hacker kid dials random numbers until he eventually gets connected to the WOPR supercomputer.

You'd be amazed how many people are convinced the phone company is selling their numbers, these scammer sorts aren't in the business of paying for something they can easily do on their own for free.

I don't have any children, and haven't ever been a patient (I'm 46 and didn't live in WA until 1998), and yet they keep calling me.
