robo message from Cumberland County Jail looking for payments of phone charges with debit card.  Left a message which began in the middle, offering options to press to pay for a call, be put into a database of blocked numbers, or open an account for calls.  I know no one at the jail and no name was given.

Robo message from some correctional facility. Same experience as "Mainer", above. Total nuisance.

Got the same message, with notice that caller had hung up during call. Sounded like a collect call, so maybe one of those "not really your grandkid" social engineering scams?

Robo call asking if I'd like to fund an inmates phone account.

I got three robo calls and voicemails in the same day from this number with the same experience as the other commenters. I have no connections to the jail.

I get calls from this number at least twice a day.  The caller comes up as Cumberland County Jail

I just got the same exact call and it was from the same number. Came to Google to find out it’s a scam. I checked the inmate database and I know absolutely nobody in there. Al’s not put my card number in too! Glad I didn’t!

This number called, left a weird message and didn’t say WHAT facility, just a facility, it had a voice recording of a man saying “hello..hello…*sigh* hello… *sniffling* hello *voice wavering*” it was totally creepy and I know NO ONE in the jail, I don’t even live in Maine anymore nor associate with anyone. Anyway, creepy, totally hope its a spam call.
