- BrittI received this call 5 times within 2 hours. I asked them to stop calling and they would not. when I just kept giving them false info, they threatened to come shoot me. they finally stopped calling from one number but then Called from a different number and my husband answered and they threatened to shoot him. Called a total of 13 times in 1 day. I blocked the number and haven't heard from them since. This is definitely a scam.

- Stephen Shenfield| 1 replyEndlessly repeated calls and voice messages claiming to be from Apple Support and saying that my iCloud account has been breached, exactly like described by others. I would like to pursue prosecution of these scammers.
- Caller: How should I know who they are?
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Tygerkat replies to Stephen ShenfieldGo right ahead. Just know that you need both their legal name and business address for that. Let us know when you get that information.
- UTAHThis number was left as a call back support number for apple. The number originated from 770-510-1670 which is an apple store in Alpharetta GA. Statements of my apple product has had a breach. 3 calls in less than an hour.

- RLKCall back number of 2082620000.thankyou left on our answering system. I had three calls in a row, two of which I answered, waited about 5-10 seconds for someone to reply and then hung up. Since our phone is a land-line and that is certainly not a valid phone number, it is obviously a scam of some sort. 'Tis the season I guess.

- SherrtI came home to find 6 missed calls in a 4 hour time frame. All the same message on my answering machine. I didn't hear what the message was just the call back number. Checked this out on the internet just to see what all that was about. I don't have Icloud or Apple or any of that! How do I get it to stop.
- Caller: Never heard the whole message
- BROOKLYN BOB replies to Raymond| 1 replyYes, 800-275-2273 IS shown as valid Apple Number.
However, there is this thing called "SPOOFING". As per AARP Mag, for eight bucks, you can take over someone's phone number (SPOOF) and call people and make it LOOK like the call from APPLE WHEN IT DID NOT!
Now, i got this message to call 208-262-0000 about some security issue.
I mention this, since on the SAME day, I was getting calls from (212) 444-3400, which is the number I had for the Apple Store on West 14th Street in MANHATTAN, NYC.
WHEN I CALLED 212-444-3400, THE APPLE EMPLOYEE VERIFIED THAT APPLE'S NUMBER (212-444-3400) HAD, IN FACT, BEEN "SPOOFED" AND WE SHOULD TREAT ANY SUCH CALL AS A "SCAM" CALL. SHE SAID THAT APPLE DOES NOT CALL PEOPLE, BUT SENDS TEXTS OR EMAILS.
SHE SAID THE APPLE STORE HAS _____NO_____ PLANS TO CHANGE THEIR NUMBER, EVEN AFTER THIS BREACH. - BigA replies to BROOKLYN BOB
Umm, no. They simply buy a cheap software program or use their carrier's voip spoofing software and it pretty much costs them nothing. Do you really think they would be making millions of calls if it actually cost them $8 per call?Quote:for eight bucks, you can take over someone's phone number (SPOOF) - Scott| 1 replySaid there was suspicious activity with my Apple account
- Caller: “Apple”
