My wife said someone from this number called this morning claimed to be from Microsoft and that we had logged an error or complaint.  Well I assure if an error was logged they would have our name already.  Bogus call, I think she was trying to get information (phishing) but my wife simply told her to call back as she has nothing to do with the computers in the house.  I called the number and got some gimmicky voicemail that you know is from a small answering machine.  I would ignore this call!!!

Here is the person who is suppose to own this phoen number;  Dawn R Fox, 455 FDR Dr. APT B1305, New York, NY.

Got a call from this number yesterday morning. The person claimed to be from Windows and that I had gotten some malicious code from downloading. Apparently, there is no charge for this service. The person on the phone asked me to long hold the windows icon on my laptop. Apparently there were 6 error messages that was associated with the 'Bonjour' program (An Apple addon for itunes) My question is how would this company know that?

Call this morning claiming my computer had downloaded malicious software...  and exactly how would they know that ?  I did not listen long enough to find out where exactly this was going but I figured they were either phishing or selling something.

they called me asking me to download some file so i did but then i had to reformat my computer so now im gunna call the police and report it....

me i know enough about computer but for those who dont i feel so terrible if they download it :((

They want to talk to me but I don't kwon who they are? They ask some personnal question.

They called 3 times ...
The first time he said he was calling from Microsoft and that we have malicious software on our PC.
He was talking in a very bad english, so much that we could not understand the rest of what he was
saying.
The 2nd time they forgot to block their number and so we saw that it was 212-777-3021 from New-york.
Of course we hung up right away. It look to much like phishing.
They called a 3rd time, blocking their number again but we hung up.
Beware of this kind of frauds and never give personal info to unkowns people by phone.

This number phoned me today and said that my microsoft computer was in grave danger and that someone was hacking into my bank account.  I then told him that he must think I am stupid for I don't have a Microsoft computer and that the bank would notify me if there was someone hacking my account.  I then asked him if he thought I was stupid, he answered " You are stupid" and he hung up!

Got a call today from 2127773021 said someone was hacking my computer ..when i mimicked his accent he decided to hang
up

Caller ID was from Frank Davila..when I called back there was no answer

I received the same call today.  He said his name was "Jack".  My phone ID said Davila Frank.  He had such a heavy accent I had to keep asking him to repeat.  He said my computer had been hacked.  I couldn't understand what he wanted and hung up.  He called back but left no message.  Obviously something wrong with this.

first call from this phone number, i decided to play along......the guy, who definitely wasn't Frank Davila, had a very strong middle eastern accent...possibly Indian or Pakistani,  wanted to know how he knew my computer was hacked...seems that you'd have to hack my computer to know that....he hung up on me when I told him that if in fact I was hacked, then I would report it to the FTC cyber crimes unit for phishing, not to some random stranger calling me.....second phone call 2 days later went unanswered....I have heard that these phishers are trying to get you to either download a bogus program whereas they have an ability to take over your computer and personal information, or to go through a series of commands that give them control of your computer...either way....beware of providing information...They are out there!!
