Asked if I was the owner of the phone they just called.  (Obviously, they did not know my name.)  When I said yes, they said they were from Windows and were receiving messages from my computer.  They told me to turn on my computer.  I asked how they knew my number, they said it was registered with that computer.  I asked what they were going to do with my computer.  They kept insisting that I just turn it on.  Finally I said I'm not in front of my computer, so they asked when they could call back.

Just got a call from this number too.  I did not recognize it so did not pick up.  Thanks for the heads up!  Of course, no message left.  Please make this kind of activity stop.

be ware of this number too: 727451-9290, they are definetly scam artists and reported them to clearwater fla pd and am waiting to hear back, these jerks give american names but sound foreign, intimidate, pretend to be officers of the law or courts, all over payday loans that you never took out, they even give you your real social and dob, sometimes employment info and like with me gave me my old bank account info (which is closed due to scammers previously) i may be fooled but you are not going to do it again!!!

Essentially the same as what VV reports from 14 Sep.  I was at the gym when they called.  Foreign accent with typically American name.  The solicitor was trying to tell me that my computer had downloaded dozens of malware and other viruses.  I asked him what company he represented, he gave some name I'd never heard before, and I figured it's a scam.  They're still calling me, but the calls have dropped before I can talk to them and find out more to report about.

These [***] keep calling and when I try a call back, it says that the number has been disconnected. Why call from a number if it's disconnected?
