They called to tell me I one a prize. They wanted to send a rep to deliver it and give me a sales pitch for some retirement plan or something like that. I couldn't make out exactly what they were saying due to the Indian accents.

we got call at work and I answered with our company name and phone clicked-hang up.  1:16 pm Wed 11/5/08

I got the same message and told him I will give the information to the President of my company and they told me NO its for you? Because we talked to you not the president and he replied my supervisor said NO we give the scratch off to whoever we had a conversation with so I told him forget it! I am not interested and hung up. I thought it was a little fishy because they didn't explain what their nature of there business.

They claim to me when I answered to be an education help called Education Link, Note doesn't exsist I checked. The number when I called it back said welcome to movie phone??? This company that help people get in touch with colleges is a scam. For over a year now they have used about 40-50 different numbers and all are not their numbers. They spoof scam call to get you to tell them personal information but when you ask them questions about how, where, when, and things like that they hang up on you and then keep calling you and most of the times don't say anything and then it says Good Bye in an automated femals voice. The Oregon state attorney general, local police and FBI have all looked into this and can't seem to find them. They are not even from the U.S. is my part of the investigation. Scam!!!! Also they don't give up they have been doing this now for 1 year now!

Typical scam call, hung up after 2 rings.  We get loads of these types of calls, and although we don't answer unknown numbers, the calls keep coming.  Usually we have "scam days", whereupon we get a number of scam calls all on the same day, often within minutes of one another.  Based upon the "scam days", it appears as though there is one group, which is running a whole variety of scams.  This call came through on a "scam day".  

This number called and left no message. I called back and all it does is ring.
