Got a call yesterday from this #.  An Asian guy asked for the manager by name.  I told him he was not here.  Then he verified the company name and told me I had won a drawing and blah blah blah.  We never entered and contest to begin with so I hung up on him. We are a small family owned business.

Just did some more searching,  They are Peppino Hairstylist in New York!!

A woman w/an Indian accent asked for our owner, by his name.  I told her he was not available & asked if I could assist her.  She then stated that we were the winners of a random drawing for a prize.  I informed her that we were not interested; she then said it would not cost us a dime.  I politely informed her that we are on the "Do not call" list; she said that this was not a solicitation call.  I again said we are not interest & remove our number from their list & hung up.
I called the number back & yes, it is Peppino Unique Hair Stylist.  I told them that their phone number was showing up on caller ID - claiming that we won a prize. He said that they have received several calls about this & they are not making the calls.  He then proceeded to tell me that they have reported this to the FCC. If a legitimate business is calling... why would they use a phone number on caller ID that is not theirs?!?!  Got to be some sort of scam!

Missed a call from this number, and no message left, so I checked here.  Previous call reoirts are 11 tears okd, but anyone I knoe in the 212 area would leave m message.

I just checked online.  This number still pops as Peppinos Hair In NY.
