I received a call from a man who said he was calling from Windows regarding a problem with my computer. He said there are errors coming from my computer and he was calling to fix them. I'm not STUPID enough to believe that "Windows" or Microsoft would just call you out of the blue with unsolicited trouble on your machine. I asked him which machine he was calling about, and OF COURSE he didn't provide an answer to that BECAUSE HE CAN"T!! He doesn't and CANNOT KNOW ANYTHING THAT I DON'T TELL HIM!!! I am an advanced computer programmer who is A+ Certified. This is the CLEAREST definition of a scam, and an extremely weak one at that. I talked to this Bozo over a few calls, each time getting more information from him but also getting more impatient with his amateur tactics. For example he at some point threatened to shut off my machine if I didn't give him what he was looking for. Now he knows who I am and is simply harassing me by continuing to call. In our last call today I asked him why he keeps calling and he said "because we get pleasure out of it". Sick [***]. I hope this helps someone else. Don't be stupid.
