Called and left no message - the usual. I did want to thank everyone who reports these phone spam/fishing jerks. I work nationally and get lots of legitimate calls from unknown numbers so I don't necessarily know whether I've missed a possibly important call. Looking here lets me know with a fair degree of certainty that I didn't miss anything.

213-217-9999 is a scam caller.

Didn't answer but the left a robo message. "For we are unable to lower your credit card interest rates. Press one to speak to the member services department or press two and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire."  Another credit card scam.

Thanks everyone for reporting this one.  They sure have called a lot of people recently.  Blocked and saved to Contacts with the name "Spam" so I see at a glance that they should be ignored.

received a call on my cell phone but didn't answer when I don't recognize the number.  No message was left

CID showed 12195550154 and the 1-213-217-9999 number. Like ANYONE in their right mind would answer that. No message was left.

The number that called me was (213) 217-9999 it showed up in my Verizon online account as a missed call.
But on the caller ID it said 2673889517 a local Philadelphia number.

I got this call too, and I don't even have a smartphone.  I didn't pick up.

Number keeps calling me even though I am on the do not call registry.

Threatened me and called me a [***] because I told them to stop calling me and hung up. Repeatedly called from different numbers and harassed me,

Said my account hack and then to go on to my laptop and open it and sign on and everything and then he hung up on me

This number called my fax line when i wasn't home, and the caller didn't leave a message.

Why the heck do i need to put up wit people that call me , don't know me, and when i call back there is no way to get through. Dead end [***]!! I have better things to do ... It's called life. Leave me lone.

Called at 10:35AM. CID says UNKNOWN NAME. I played my laughing hysterically device for them for about 15 seconds. No one responded so I hung up. It used to be these good-for-nothings didn't usually call on weekends. But now they do.

This number has called mine and my wifes CELL phones numerous times over the last month. We never answer and they never leave a message. Thanks government for stopping this garbage from happening.

I received a call from this number about 45mins ago on my smartphone.  I have the Call Control app from the Google Play store, which intercepted the call and identified the call as (in big bold red letters) SCAM call and not as a telemarketing.
Although Call Control intercepted the call, no message was left to my voice mail.
I'm sure folks know this, but DO NOT give any of your personal information to these people. I'd venture to say they are phishing for personal information for the sole purpose of identity theft.

For those interested in the Call Control app, it was not an expensive app but it seems to work every time so that I am no longer annoyed with these or those telemarketers with endless different phone numbers. Once the call is caught the first time, it seems to catches 98% of the rest of the calls. It's made life much more quieter from these calls and less annoying.

800-Notes really needs to have an option for "Scam" in the Call Type. These calls are not Telemarketing, they are not Unknown and they are not Prank Calls.  Call it what it is an illegal attempt to scam & defraud people.

My cell phone was in another room when it rang. I hustled in to answer it. By the time I got to it and tried to answer, they hung up. I looked the unrecognized number and found that it's a scam call. Surprise, surprise!

Left no message. When I called the number it was 'non-working.'  Added it to my call-blocker.

Called didn't leave message!

Received call from this number, showed on caller ID as "anonymous".  Man spoke very poor English.  Hard to understand. Asked me if I had windows.  Told him I had 6 in living room, 3 in family room, 2 in kitchen, two  in each bedroom.  Best I could understand, he wanted to do something to my windows.  Told him I had them all replaced a few years ago and had no problem with them.  He simply hung up on me.
