Got a call from this number saying to call them back immediately to prevent my social from being omitted, or something? Weird.

I got a call that an audit was scheduled for my SS# and I need to call back with in  24 hours.I happen to know that audits are not done this way a letter is always sent first.  If you get a call like that do not give them your SS#  this is a fishing call.  they didn';t say what compay the were with just a call back number of 213.286.0075 ext 102.

These people have called every member of my family looking for my parent.  When I told them to put their request in writing, the woman not only refused, she got very rude.  I ended up calling the FCC and making a complaint.  They claimed to be the IRS and the SSA to different people.

I just got these calls to.. So who and how do we report this that they will get in trouble and calls stop?

Called today and left a message that there is an scheduled audit on my SS#. This lady leaves mesage the same thing that I am reading from the comment. I don't know what company she is representing. If they
got my work# and home#-is it not easier to send letter so in that way we know who they are representing.

I got a call from this number (213-286-0075) today claiming that I have been audited and found guilty in arbitration for some payday loan that I supposedly took out in 2009. YEAH RIGHT!!!! As a result of this audit I was asked to pay $998 or risk having my wages garnished for a sum total of $3800; but I could avoid all of this if I pay the current balance of $998 immediately. This scam has got to be stopped.

Received a call today at 10:20 and her name is Ms Porter and she said a  there is a schedule audit on my
Ss#-she knows the last four number. She said she is not a collection agency and is trying to prevent something which I don't know . I asked to handed a copy of the documents and she said she already and I said I never got it . I need the company that she is reprensenting and won't say the name and insists that it
is a payday loan that she is trying to collect. I don't owe anything and I said you are harrassing and you are vilotating FDCPA and she hanged. I am concerned because she called from the main number of the Company that I worked with.
