Also received call, no message.  Called the number back and received "not a working number" error.

Our company keeps getting calls from this number and no one is on the other end. When we try to call it back it says not a working number or it gives a busy tone. How can we fix this? We are a call center and its backing everything up.

Receiving calls 2-5-09 from this number over and over and no one is there.
Online directory look-up says it is out of Michigan.  We too are a call center and the number is backing up our primary switchboard and call center.

It's not coming from Michigan it is a landline in California.

I received a call from this number @ 12:31am on 2/11/09 on my business 800 line.  No one was there when I picked up.  Second time this week that the same # has called with the same outcome.

I just got three calls in a row from this number (2/12/09 7:30am).  The caller hung up two times, then the third time I spoke w/ someone.  The connection was bad, and I had a hard time understanding through the thick accent.  The caller said he was calling from Cameroon (Africa).  Since this is the known hotspot for adoption frauds and scams, and the call was on my "adoption hotline", I told him not to call again.

Called on a Sunday at noon. No message

Just got a call asking about our shipping options - we are an online store.  Had trouble understanding them, I tried to get more information but they quickly said they would order online and hung up.  We'll be keeping an eye out for the fraudulent order that will probably come through.

We're a small family business with a website presence. First call to my assistant was a Penn number, sounded like they were asking to confirm address to send updated credit card merchant docs. When she asked to take a number for my return call, the caller hung up. A caller reached me later in the day using this number, and said something regarding my Visa (or Miva) merchant account. After several unintelligible sentences, I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with, whom I might be able to better understand. The caller said "OK" and hung up. Americom lookup located this number in LA, CA area.

I received a call from this number today, and caller spoke Chinese, saying he was calling from China.  Sounds like he was calling on behalf of Chinese government.  I said I was busy asking him to send info by mail.  He asked for my fax number, and said he would fax me some info immediately.  I gave him a fax number, but I never received the fax. I am not sure what he wanted from me.

This number is used with various fraud schemes.  Do not give caller any information

We are a car dealership and this person is trying to order car parts with a stolen credit card. He goes by the name of James Nai with his address in Punta Gorda,FL. Can't understand him half the time. I wish they would catch the crook!!

I was told by someone that this is NOT a fraud number.

It is actually a number for internet VOIP phone service.  
The reason why everyone here get to talk to strange all different kind of callers is because these callers(Africa, Chinese, ... basically international) were serviced by this number for their internet phone company.  This is a new kind of phone service method as I understand.

VOIP phone is different from the conventional phone service, check it out yourself!

A lot of you have various possibilites of who is calling from the numbers. It is Outbound VOIP number for FreeCall. I called up 18004383000, the verizon service number. And it will repeat the number back to you. The number has incoming calls disabled, like most outbound voip numbers.

Several calls yesterday, all with now message.  If it's a scam, it's a really poorly executed one.  It's very irritating.

I own a chair website called chairsforyou.com. The caller called from this number with a thick accent and sounded as if he was on a very bad connection. He asked if I had office chairs. I said of course what kind would you like? I asked if he was looking for anything in particular. He said no. I said, would you like a leather chair...he obviously said yes. This must be a scam as normal customers called with a specific chair in mind.

Today I just got 2 calls form this number and they said, they do not speak English only Spanish. I told them I am tracking them and was with the FBI. I have a special tracking device and the # is coming from CA. Note, the number is a computer device like a magic jack or something similar.
I am on it and will work to end these ridiculous calls.

Started calling at 6 in the morning as unknown.Several attemps made during the day.A few callifornia numbers came up but mostly unknown.Finally another one at 12 am and some said this is michael this is michael.Than hung up.This is scary and rediculous.

Female caller asked for the person in charge of our Internet marketing.  I dumped her into voice mail
