Got a call from this number today asking if we took credit cards.  I saw it was a California call.  So was very doubtful that this was a good call.  I told him they would have to bring credit card into my store.  Then he said this is for Indiana Police.  He asked me what TV we carried and then wanted model number from the TV's we had.  I got the phone number and a name.  Told him I would call back.  But called the police to report.  I was the 5th person to call just today.  

Caution, 213-293-8497 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

Called appliance store for purchase of a refrigerator to be bought and shipped to another state....
Wish there were a way to check numbers when on the phone with someone when you have a doubt about it.  BEWARE of everyone anymore unfortunately

Peter Cole Ordered 12 tires At A Price Of $2045.94. Said That He Would By Them Carryout And Have Another Person Pick Them Up. He Would Call Me With A Card Number. Seems Pretty Fishy.

They called my cell phone looking to buy blank t-shirts, to be picked up and shipped overseas. He asked for my email and my full name. I did not give him my full name because I could tell this was a hoax, but I was nervous to get a bad yelp review. Thank you to everyone who posted about this so I can ignore his email.
