This is a debt collecting scammer. When I looked up the number;  someone said it was a IRS scammer . But it is a debt collector/scammer. It is a legal attorney stating if you do not comply with paying your credit card they will come to arrest you. So when I saw this number I labled it as a scammer and blocked it.its not IRS or SSA they send you letters in the mail. The same with IRS. It's just a Crockett debt collector acting like a scamming attorney. If it was a real attorney they would send you mail not calling you for no reason at all.

The same Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice?  I wouldn't mess with him.   I see nothing that says that this is an IRS call.  Attorneys cannot "arrest you".  Yes they can call you before sending out a letter.

Whenever someone tells you that they are a "lawyer" or that they work for a lawyer or law firm, the first question you should ask is what state(s) they are registered in and their BAR number for that/those state(s).  Then go to that state and check them out, contact them directly using the information in the state registration, as these crooks have been known to research real law firm names and attorney names and impersonate them.
