Said they were Stonewall Associates and complaint had been filed against me.  Funny....I didn't receive anything in the mail.  Scammers!

Recieved a call from this number,saying i had warrant out for my arrest. Could'nt state when the offense occurred, just that i would be picked up on fraud and theft by deception charges and that i needed to get an attorney. They tried to tell me i am to be arrested at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning....the company that i supposedly ripped off was an online lender named Direct Cash Loans

Recieved the same calls.  Blocked the numbers after contacting the police.  Police said it was a scam so change your number and check your credit report.  The officer I spoke with said he's been receiving similar calls

+1 (213) 457-7182 Has been calling me since last year. They said they were "stonewall associates and work directly with the state of attorney." The man I spoke with said I owed 3,000 to a loan company that I had taken out 2 years prior (which I never did). There was lots of background noise like they were calling from a call center- very, very loud I could hardly understand.
I told them to send me a bill for what I owed and they couldn't. They also said I was not being compliant and that the matter had "escalated to something very serious" so they Transferred me to another department where I was harassed and told there was a warrant for my arrest.
They were trying to tell me that if I got off the phone call with them they were going to notify police that I was being non compliant. I had to pay the money that day or there would be a warrant for my arrest.
I called back after they left another message a few months later and gave them a fake name. I told them I didn't know who they were looking for. They said they would take my number off the call list.
Hopefully that's the end of that.

This same number keeps calling and saying the same thing. If we all keep notifying our DA and police department along with the FBI maybe they will stop being stupid.

These are scammers who have nothing to do with their time. Don't fall for it or give them and information

All of your comments was exactly the same with me. I told them to go ahead with the warrant. I'll be home. Same story with the loans.. All scams.

Same thing I told them! Come and get me then, why waste time on the phone.

This number came up on my work phone. Picked up since this is not the first time they have called. Told me that I had a payday loan and that I owed over $1000 and if I don't pay this today they will have a warrant out for my arrest. Well first I've never had a payday loan in my life and I told them I will speak with my husband since he is law enforcement and should know about the warrant being issued on me. Funny, my husband and I keep receiving calls like this ever since we purchased a home recently and never had they harassed us before then.  They kept with the threats so I gave the phone to my husband and he read his badge number and for the counties surrounding us and ours there is no record of a warrant being issued for me. Well by the time he said the last few words, they hung up on him.  They are scammers, so please do not give them any information on you or anyone else. By law if they have to send you in writing what this debt is, how much and who it is from. Good luck all!

The scammers have already worked over the known numbers of known debtors, and are looking for new people to scam. When you realize a caller is a scammer, just hang up. Don't give them any more information.

these people stole over $1,000.00 from my grandma they prey on the weak they are a fake company that stole old payday loan papers my grandma never took a payday loan you sorry [***]

Call was from a lady saying i owed money and if i didn't pay it today i would be thrown in jail hahahaha. I work for the state. There is no pending charges on me. These people are using another number also (213) 457-7182. Maybe the same person shouldn't called for two different states in a matter of minutes. Fraud!!!!

They call my number while traveling so I did not have my phone on me. The individual identified herself as Laura or Lauren Right - from Stonewall Group. There was a lot of noise in the background so it was hard to tell. They Also call from 202-618-3568 and 202-618-3569. One of the numbers I believe checks that the number they are calling is valid and they call from a different one. I did some research and could not find anything about a "stonewall group" based out of USA that deals with any legal matters. There is a few "stonewall" marketing companies but that seems to be the end of it.

Also, she ends with her message with "we need to hear from your attorney today" and the last words are "good luck" - I am sorry I do not believe any sort of official law firm would say "good luck" in an official message.

From my understanding it is also some sort of routed/web based number - once again I do not believe fully qualified law firms would do that.
