Someone calling himself Jerry from Acme assured me that my (non-existent) company qualifies for $500K in business financing, but that he needed to verify some details first. He seemed to have my name but didn't tell me where he got my number when I asked, then hung up pretty quickly when I pointed out that I have no business to finance. I suspect some sort of scam.

Same jerk just called me.  Apparently my non-existent business is only eligible for $250K.  I'm jealous.

Jerry from Acme also called. Asked for the Business Owner. Saying I qualified for ...hung up.

Jerry said I can get financial help for my business. WOW...i'm lucky as you guys are :)

Funny.. I got the same call from the same person 4 hours ago. It's annoying how he got my number. I was on the bus, so I couldn't really hear anything clear. I would have chased him down to find out how he got my info if I had known better...

Got a call at 5:12 pm this afternoon and another last week.  The first call said his bank had told him to call because of unauthorized charges on HIS account.  I asked why his bank would be have their customer to begin a personal investigation.  Today's call said he was from Acme.  Acme?  I asked if it was the same Acme that supplied Wiley E. Coyote with explosives.  He hung up.

When I said I was on the DO NOT CALL list he hung up on me too smh

Ive been getting calls from this number for days now and have not picked up. If this jerk calls one more time Im actually answering and flying off the handle.

I just got a call and it seems to be some robot call and no one answered when I stayed on the line. This is definitely a scam. Please don't give any information these guys.

Been calling me for the past week!!! I never answer the call. They've called at different hours of the day...11:00 AM on Monday, 5:30 PM on Tuesday, 11:30 AM Thursday (today!). I have had enough and finally blocked this number on from my phone.

Why doesn't the FTC or whoever go after this m*therf*cker?!

Same as the others on here.  It's a pretty good soundboard they are using.

Someone, no doubt in a foreign country, uses it to conceal their accent and then clicks the appropriate sound bite to play based on your responses.  I asked some quick questions and heard the same response a couple of times.

This clown Jerry just called me and when I asked him to repeat his company name he hung up on me. Probably a scam

This number calls me all the time but I dnt answer. If I call back its a generic recording.

Has been call me for days but I haven't answered.  I'll see how long until they give up and report back.

They call themselves acme and they want my information so they can loan me 250k.
I asked for their lender license number and the guy said I could get it when I give him the info he wants and passes me on to the next person.

I seriously hope no one is dumb enough to fall for this phishing scam.

Received a call from this number and the person identified himself as working for Cash Advance. Said I was pre-approved for $200k and he needed to verify my details. I asked him how he got this lead and he said he'd phone back later. Unlikely.

Received call 12:12 pm. No one there. I could hear some faint sound in the background.
