Love that they called me. I use MAC product so I let him rattle for a minute then hit him with that, he hung up real fast.  Another called about 3 hours later.  And any number with a 11 is international.

The old "calling from Technical Support" SCAM!  Your computer is infected, blah blah.  Upon repeated questioning, he will eventually claim that he's with "Sysfix 24" (which is a real company).  This is of course a lie.  He also doesn't know that the area code for Los Angeles is 213 -- where the spoofed Caller ID says he is calling from.  SCAM!

I asked him what company is he representing? He said that it was "windows" in a strong caribbean accent.  He kept telling me that my computer was infected with a virus. He also told me to open my computer.  Then, I knew something was fishy...ummm.... I simply hanged up...He never called back.  Don't beleive anything he says. It is a scam.

Scammer: [with an Indian accent] "Hello, my name is Raul, and I'm calling about your computer"
Me: [very snarky tone] "Oh, this is totally a scam. Goodbye."
    Scammer: "Who told you that?"

Definitely a scam targeting people with little computer knowledge.  Says he is with Microsoft and then proceeds to ask you to log into your computer and do some things for him...  Don't.

Caller said his name was John, more like Achmed.  He said he was calling about my computer network.  I immediately asked him what kind of network I had and he hung up.  Tried call him back to give him sheet and the call would not go through.  Total scam in my opinion.  I wish all of these people would rot in he ll

Just an FYI.  The 11 indicates the call came from outside the United States.  Foreign countries use codes to indicate the country and codes are sometimes needed to dial outside the country.  Either way, it's a scam call.
