Claims to be from Microsoft, Indian sounding voice.

I said hello no one there caller blocked

We received a call from a man with a thick foreign voice. He claimed we downloaded a virus / malware onto our computer system and he wanted to help me resolve the problem. His name was blocked / missing from our caller i.d. so I blocked his phone number and hung up. This is a scam!!!!! They try scaring you into allowing them to access your computer system remotely.

Calling our work number - name blocked as "name unavailable" - does not say anything, hangs up after I stay on the line not saying anything in return.

I believe they accidentally left a voicemail for me.  Two guys talking hindi.

I didn't pick up, no voicemail left = Blocked

Indian call center. Stating he's technical department of Windows (Microsoft? lol) and they're getting an error message from my computer. It's a scam. I told them it's probably cause it's off. He hung up. He knew I knew. A holes.

Total scam!!  These guys are scum and are trying to steal your money and hack your computer.

just got a call from that guy... he routinely tries to call my friends (i take care of their computer issues). last time, i spent an hour and a half with this guy telling him "let me speak to your supervisor" in an attempt to just troll him (and i succeeded at that, as he hung up calling me sexy on one hand and a psychotic [***] on the other, go figure)... this time, however "i'm from the computer service and i'm here to call about a virus on your computer"... "no you're not. i built my computer myself, and i'm the one who takes care of it, either in code or with soldering iron, and i've hired no such service"... "but ma'am, hackers are trying to get..." "listen, i'm white hat, no they're not" "but ma'am, please listen" "how old are you, kid?" "whaa? (he was genuinely taken aback at this)" "how old are you?" "28, ma'am" "i've been in the IT industry for 40 years, and you mean to tell me that you know more about my computer than i do? i suggest you either hang up right now, or else i'll call the cops for intrusion of privacy and identity thef..." *CLICK!*

I believe these people got my phone number because I recently purchased a domain name. The number they called was not used or given out before and they had the name and number for this unpublished line. If our newly elected administration can assign someone to put a minimal amount of effort into stopping these crooks, they would be amazed at the effect it will have. These calls can be traced back to the origin in India and stopped, no one has tried before. Time to add these illegal calls to the list of criminals to pursue. These people in other countries are using our phone system to steal from us and someone needs to tell them it will no longer be tolerated.

Read the posts .... I Google if I get a number I don't recognize or have in my Contacts BEFORE I answer any calls.... If they know or want to speak with me, leave a message! Seems as though they are checking 'WhoIs' and calling the newest purchases on the public list.... blocked calls and messages for now! So thanks to everyone who shares their experiences with these low-life, POS scammers! Carry On! :-)

Lol... "Mike Hunt" must be associated with this phone number. This phone number is obviously a scam, someone trying to rip people off / steal their identity.
