Left voice mail using threatening tone, DEMANDED a return call within the hour with an "or else" undertone.

Call my place of employment asking for wrong name saying was maiden name which is not!! never heard of this person nor have anything outstanding. Next time I will file charges!!

Received threatening voicemail demanding I call back in 2 hrs to accept delivery of paperwork from LDR which is a california company and I don't live in california since I refused to sign originally.  Called back number and was hung up on after I told him I had a lawyer and he would look into this so called paperwork he would be "delivering" and he got upset and hung up.  So tired of these people

What law firm would be open at this time of the morning on a Sunday?

Just got a call marked private number saying I had a court date and needed to call 213 536 1169 and talk to the law firm at this number so I wouldn't miss my court date.  Whatever!  Your game is weak!

Same crap as everyone else,  call back within 2 hours or further legal action will be taken.  Even called my mother haha, I threatened legal action of my own and he hung up.  Mind at ease

Got call from number asking for husband. Said he had papers to deliver because he was being sued. Told him he was not here and guy said I would have to sign then. HaHaHa, not!!!! Then said "Best I can do is hold then for 2 hours and hope he gets back, see ya then". What a joke. Thanks for all the reports on this jerk....Oh and call came in as Private....

called my job, demanded I call 213-536-1169 within 2 hours or I will miss my court date.  I advised they can't call and threaten me with a court date I was never served with.  He said it was a failed attempt.  I asked for the address they "tried" to serve me at, he gave me an address that was neither my job or home.  I said serve me at my house, he said "well you are going to miss your court date!"  I said I didn't care. He hung up on me.

My mother received a call last night 3 states away.  Of course, the demanding tone of the caller made her a wreck.  I got call today but the guy knew my social security number.  I said I could get proof of my debts all being paid.  I needed to call him back, I have left message 4 hours ago but no new call.  This is nothing to be worried about?

Phone calls, faxes, emails, & texts are NOT an official method of notification.  It is up to THEM to prove YOU owe anything - no matter what they say.  DEMAND (if they call again) WRITTEN proof of the complaint and have it MAILED to you.  They have 5 days to  comply.  It must give their company name & location, original creditors, dates amounts, etc.  Expect no paperwork & possibly illegal threats (that will not happen).  Give your state attorney general's office a call too.
