SCAMMER- Do people really fall for this crap?
Here is the message-"Hi this message is intended to contact you. My name is Kevin Mason and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US treasury intending to serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance instead for a magistrate judge or a grand jewelry for a federal criminal offense. My number is 213501030. I repeat 213-550-1030. I'd advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you."

Sadly they still do or the trick wouldn't be played. Don't allow unknown numbers a chance to leave messages and slowly drive them away.

Wow!  I literally called this number back to tell them off.  The guy answering the phone said Kevin Mason was not available and could he be of assistance to me.  I told him to never call me again with his ridiculous scam.  I then proceeded to ask him how stupid does he think people are that anyone would fall for this.  His answer?  "Ma'am, there are people who do fall for it."  I asked what do you mean by "it"?  He responded, "There are people who fall for this trap," and then he hung up on me!  He said it with no shame whatsoever! I am appalled.  How these people sleep at night is beyond me.

I got exactly the same message used the same name had a foreign accent. Lousy scamming P.O.S.

I just had a message from these slime balls! Same exact message.  One time they called and I stayed on the phone messing with them for over 10 minutes. I knew it was a scam so I would lead them to believe I was going along with their scam and then start laughing at them telling them I know they are crooks and that I would be reporting them to the police. They guy actually continued to "strongly encourage" me to call the 213 phone number.  These [***] are evil and have no soul!!
For anyone who has elderly parents, please tell them never to give out any personal information to anyone over the phone. And if they do get someone calling asking personal questions to just take down the persons name & number and give it to you to check it out. Unfortunately many of the elderly become victims of these scammers. Shameful!

Have you ever received a random call from an American claiming to be from the IRS? It's always a foreigner, and that's because they know they've got a slim chance to get caught. There's something needed for them to have any chance at either threatening or attempting to steal: any kind of answer from the numbers they call. Without one, they've got no chance at anything.

Total scam. Don't even respond to these punks. The IRS will never call you and speak about any kind of legal action or arrest. These dip Shi_'s need to loose the foreign accent and call from an actual real number in order to attempt to carry out their lame scam.

Masked "tinny" voice claims they are "Kevin Mason" and are calling to indicate there is a Grand Jury felony tax case that has been filed against us.  We need to call him back in order for him "to help us out and avoid the charge."  Definite TAX scam aimed at the naive and elderly.  DON'T FALL FOR IT AS THERE IS NO SUIT AND ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY.  DON'T CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK!!!!!  REPORT THEM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AS I DID.
