Its a survey

A recorded message came in from these guys offering a free security system, including installation, if I posted their sign in my yard.  The options were to dial 1 to hear more, or dial 9 to be put on the do-not-call list.  I am already registered on the national do-not-call list, so they have violated federal law by calling me in the first place.  I dialed 1 to hear more.  Someone picked up, and I noticed a lot of noise and chattering in the background, so this sounds like a big operation of some sort.  I got about one sentence out before they hung up without saying a word.

Called at 1150 No message.

Got a call from them today at 9:21am. No message.

Hey keep getting a call on my cell phone and they leave no message...I am sure it is a scam just the fact so so many have posted the same here...why am I posting want the next person to see the same current postings ~ Scam

called at 12:40, no answer when I picked up

Called 11:45 AM.  Left no message. Just added the number to my REJECT list.

Just happened to me; didn't answer.  The number will now ring "silent" on my cell phone. I'm saving more irritant numbers than anything else, just to get some peace before they change their number again!!

I also just got the 'survey' -- "Hello, this is John from political opinions of America research surveys....You will get a free two-day cruise to the Bahamas courtesy of our supporters!"

Same here at 12:40 - already reported to the FCC - it probably won't do any good but it made me feel a little better.

i actually spent quite a bit of time on the phone, mostly pissing off the manager it was good fun. they want you to pay up then and there or else forget it. even though they pitch it as if you have an entire 18 months to decide when you want the trip, and saying pretty much you are guaranteed the trip. i was luckily armed with the powerful internet, i was searching scam on them during the whole conversation and was able to through it right back at them. they are not accreted with the BBB.

i told them i want a legitimate letter in the mail to show proof. they refused. end of story.

They are continuing to call my home number on a daily basis.  However, they are not leaving a message and it is becoming harassment.  They should be fined.

Someone called from this number, I didn't answer since I didn't know who it was, and they didn't leave message. Apparently it's someone running a scam since many people are getting calls from this same number.
