I keep getting calls from 213-555-5555 at work 2-3 times a day. They are calling the main secretary asking for me but won't leave a message. The person has a heavy accent

When someone is calling you from a pay phone this will show up on your caller ID. A company out of CA.

Got a call from (213) 555-6005.  A message said to call 423-585-1107 for a job interview.  I called that number and they said long distance charges would apply.  I hung up.  The msg also said "Press 2 to be removed from this list" before they told you what this call was about.  A search on 423-585-1107 didn't turn up anything, except that it was from Morristown, TN.

The business I work for keeps getting calls from 213-555-5556 which is obviously a fake number.  They ask for an employee who no longer works here.  When I told them to stop calling the 3rd time they called the man on the other end got very aggressive and refused to believe me, telling me that my voice sounded familiar and that "we'll see" when I insisted that she didn't work here any longer.  My guess is that it is a collection agency.  I'm sure they'll call back.  I guess I now get to have some fun and mess with them.

i got a call from this number 11 times since 5:30 EST today and other numbers that dont make sense such as 50432061283 and (320) 612-83 and (000) 000-0000. i answered a few times and its all the same. nobody talks, i hear someone in the background (kinda sounds like a little kid). i googled it to see what came up and i saw this website. looks like its not just me.

This number is from a website called QXLonline.com They offer cash advances to people on refferal only, you cannot apply for them. They buy peoples information from other lenders and use it to contact you. My fiancee got calls from them from this 555 number and also from a short number on her cell like 61283 or something like that. Avoid the call and just get them to stop.

This number called.  When it showed up on caller ID I laughed and said BOGUS! Guess what??  No message left!! No way!

What good is it reporting these people if nothing can be done about their harrasment, Does anyone really care about doing anything about it. Don't seem like it.

just got a call on my house and cell at the same time from that number, I answered they couldnt pronounce my name so they got hung up on

This number is assigned to a non functioning website.  Appears this website was set up simply to scam a person out of money. If you call this number you get a busy signal.  As it seems it has been used before for telemarketing, etc, I would be wary of any one or any company calling from this number.
