Just called, didn't leave a message. Caller based in Los Angeles.  Not a number I know, so I didn't answer.

Claimed to be from the IRS - Pretty hysterical really- it sounded to be a computer generated voice.  It said this was the FINAL ATTEMPT to talk to me... then they called back again... I guess that was the SECOND FINAL Attempt.  They said - if I don't call back - they are filing suit.  I pay dozens of tens of thousands of dollars in taxes each year... and the IRS never contacts you BY PHONE.   Nothing SPECIFIC... No Tax-Payer ID - and even more funny - they called my CORPORATE CELL PHONE.  This cell phone isn't associated with an individual.  I called back just to "eff" with them... but the line was busy...  I live in MD - they thought they were calling a SAN DIEGO number - because that's where our Home Office is based out of...    I can't IMAGINE anyone falling for this crap...and there should be a number you can call to report this foolishness.   If anyone knows anyone who fell for this... I'd be curious to know how they would attempt to extort money from them.

Got 2 calls today both went to voice mail.   All i heard was pending lawsuit please call us about your file.   Caller id said wireless caller.   Robotic female voice.

I received the same message today. Anyway the IIRS doesn't call anyone regarding such a situation. You would receive mail.
