ditto for me.  calls and hangs up.

I got a call from this number on my in-home business line today, on a Saturday.  Of course, they left no message and business phone lines are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call Registry. I've been rallying to try and get people to CALL THEIR SENATORS in Washington and tell them we're tired of these telemarketers and that business phone lines should not be excluded from the list.  That's what I did and they got an earfull.  I totally agree that the lobbyists are controlling everything when it comes to these telemarketers and the joke of a Do No Call List.  Why so much fine print with the Do Not Call List, when it's extremely simple?  If people don't want calls, then they don't want calls -- I mean any kind of calls coming into ANY phone line.  It's typical of the government bureaucracy to make something that's really simple so complicated.  I get probably 30 to 40 of these calls a week, which I consider as harassment.  If it's not somebody trying to give me a credit card, then it's a RECORDING telling me I've won a free Florida vacaction [I just got one of those yesterday].  To bad there's nothing we can really do to fight back.  Ha!I like the 1,000,000,000 volts through the phone line back at them that someone suggested in these posts!  I've also thought about a really loud horn or noise of some kind.  I'm usually a nice person, but feel so helpless with this constant harassment.

Our phone rang, "unavailable" "213-797-2149" showed up on caller ID. Our answering machine picked up and then "they" hung up. Very annoying!I called the number back and it goes directly to voice mail.

Nothing after the phone was answered.

The same happened to me a few minutes ago. My phone had unavailable" "213-797-2149 on it, but it didn't leave a message, so I called back and it went straight to the answering machine. I am so tired of these calls. Is there anyone we can talk to to make these calls stop?

I got the same call at 7:26pm est on a Sat.  After answering I put the call on Mute after that they hung up in about 5 Seconds...

I just received a phone call from this number at 7:23PM EST.  I answered but no one was on the line.  I am in Knoxville, TN.

Phone range, nobody there.

Received the call at 8:27 eastern time (NJ).  It went to voice mail but they left no message.  I've gotten a few calls a week for the past couple of weeks from this number.

They called at 8:43 EST. Same as some here...hung up after I answered and I called the number back to get an answering machine. I don't get why they wouldn't even TRY to talk. Why hang up?

Called 7:00EST, no one there.  Looks like we all got calls from this # today/tonight (my # is in 856-735).

Received this call October 11th at 7:13, there was no response when I answered

Started receiving this call several months ago.  They hang up when my machine picks up.  They call regardless of the day (night) or time.  I have been signed up on the 'Do Not Call' list, but it doesn't seem to have helped.  When I checked the 'white pages' on google it shows AT & T is their carrier.  I do have AT & T as my carrier, they need to do something about this.
