Got a call from this number saying I had 2 hours to call or I get papers served on me . Is this a scam ??

Yes, it is a scam. No REAL process server is going to call you in advance; you could hide if you knew they were coming. And you can't buy your way out of a summons, either, which is what they will claim if you speak to them. My advice is to block the number or at the very least, ignore them when they call.

Did they give you a case number too

The left a message for a Jamie Hines. Said they had 2 hours to call back the legal company they hired to serve him the papers he refused to sign for. The number came up restricted on my cell phone. Last time it came up restricted I answered and no one spoke.

This number called my mothers phone and left a message stating if an Alicia Taylor did not return the call in 2 hours they would continue with legal measures. That legal documents were refused to be signed for.

Same message. Looked up number and found these comments.
