I did not answer

They call me multiple times a day.

got a call from john williams from 1 877 486- 2706 telling me that he was from microsoft windows about a threat on my computer. the number on my caller id was 214-222-8888 from dallas c. he had an heavy indian accent.

Male voice said hello in Spanish and hung up.

Few seconds of dead open air, then hung up. Blocked.

"windows support". My grandfather fell for this. They walk you through steps to log into your computer remotely, then ransom all your files unless you give them a credit card.

When they called me, I said, "Is this where you hack into my computer and take my credit card?".....they hung up.

Unrecognized numer. I did not answer and blocked after I read comments posted here

Claim to be social security,have a federal arrest on you, must call number.  Scammercall. call many times, and then call from all pat of u.s. on different numbers.

Got the call....sooo excited that they picked me.  YOUR ANSWER IS THAT YOU USE A HARDENED VERSION OF LINUX.

Called 2x.  Each time let it ring 2x.  Hung up.  (Goofy caller id: "800 Phone Numbe"

Did not answer, they did not leave message. Yes, my caller ID said it was a call from “800 phone number” with a number of 214-222-8888.

Someone with a heavy Indian accent telling me that there was a problem with AT&T. Told him to speak with my husband in the evening

Scam call pretend to be Microsoft.  Responded to them "GUNDA"

same MO as the other folks here, I told them "oh you mean my apple mac that doesn't run on windows?"  he (east indian person) asked if it was on macintosh and I said " it was on safari" and he said "hello" and then disconnected.  obviously, someone monitoring the line.  He knew my name which was scary, but not stupid enough to fall for this tired old scam.  They are spoofing a legit business in Texas though.

No message was left.  I don't know anyone in Dallas, TX.
