Caller id Tridata, just a girl's giggling laugh while answering machine played.

Main St Prcsng as well.  Asked to speak to the person that does our credit card processing.

CALLING WITH REQUEST TO FAX PREVOUS MONTHS MERCHANT PROCESSING STATEMENT UNDER WITH THE PROMISE THAT THEY WILL CREDIT SOME OVERCHARGES ON OUR ACCOUNT, AFTER REVIEWING STATEMENT.

Called this morning and left a message.  Said to call and ask for Diana.  Call ID said MAIN ST PRCSNG.  I get these calls all the time since my number is a business number.

Called my office (Doctor office) and asked me to call back.  Did not leave regarding subject.  I called back and got answering machine with fairly unprofessional greeting on it.  Main number/directory said Main St. Processing.  Caller did say his name was Steve Brown referred by Dr. Scott.  I don't know any Dr. Scotts.

Asked to speak to the owner, but was graceful enough to end the call when I told her that we do not need credit card processing, instead of pushing it like other telemarketers do.

Wanted me to fax our credit card statements for their review and stated that my current processing was increasing rates...duh...they have no way of knowing that info.  Just another deceptive company trying to get info that is none of their business.

Got a call about our account,got suspicious and told them I would call them back. It goes to Main Street Processing.

Asked to speak to manager.  Then said we were overcharged on our merchant account and fees would be going uo?  Asked if I seen this already on our statement?  I said send me something in writing and she said she would. Probably a scam artist - stay clear!

I got a call from this number and it sounded like a black teen age boy with a bad case of the giggles.  He kept telling his "cuz" he needed money, like he might be in jail.

I received a call from this company "main street processing". A lady named Diane told me that I was being overcharged on my credit card processing machine and that she would need a copy of my last statement.  I told her that I wasn't interested in switching companies.  This is not a scam,it is a legit company but they are doing unethical marketing practices to get you as a client.  Never give a strange company any personal information about you or your business!

this outfit is owned by a guy Steve Odom, he's running multiple credit card processing companies under different names all out of the same office. Some of the company names include Tridata Inc, Main Street processing, and Datalink Bankcard Services. I have filed a formal complaint w the Texas A.G. office over their business practices. I suggest not doing business with them. It's a shady outfit.......

I bit on an offer from this "Main Street Processing" company, through a female rep named "Kris" - billing came from Datalink Bankcard Services. Their contract is shady, their personnel is unprofessional, and they lie about everything.  I also filed a formal complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general.  The main st. proc. company supplies independent sales reps who are underqualified and bend contracts in ways that the company cannot actually fulfill just to get you to sign on so they can get their commissions - Datalink and Tridata are the actual service providers.  Avoid these guys - they are bad news all around.

Got a call today from someone claiming they were from Main Street Merchant Processing. She kept telling me my Visa/Mastercard rates have gone up. I told her I don't use their services and she kept insisting that I was. Anyway I know better so I abruptly ended the conversation by hanging up the phone. Nothing seemed legit about the phone call so when in doubt I hang up immediately.

That company "main street processing called me and I cussed them out. then I turned them into the "do not call list".  sales and spam calls are NOT supposed to call people, its the law and this co. is breaking the law. everytime this number calls you guys, turn em in to better business bureau and also file complaint with do not call list. This co is ripoff con artists. do not ever give your personal info, credit card info, NOTHING to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Creeps!

I really didn't appreciate Main Street Processing calling and talking down the current Processing company that we are using at this time.  I then told them that I did  not appreciate them calling me by my first name when they didn't even know me from adams house cat and I would like for them to remove my number from there list and then the woman just hung up the phone.  I then called there number and explained that I did not appreciate the way they have conducted business and would they please remove my number from there list and also I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I just received a call from Main Street Processing.  They seemed to know a lot about my current rates which were exactly spot on with what my rates really are.  They asked if they could take a look at my current credit card processing company's statement.  I used white-out on all the important information faxed it to them and received a call from one of their analysts.  He was very professional.  Went through all my current charges with me.  Showed me a couple of things that are questionable and then at the end of the conversation he said that my rates were only a  10th of a precent more that what he could offer me and really didn't think it would be worth the trouble for me to switch to Main Street at this time.
He also told me to call my current processor to question some of the things he saw on my current statement that didn't look right to him and maybe I could save myself some money.  All-in-all I don't seem to think that this was a scam.  Their initial  phone call was no different that all the other telemarketing calls I get or the "dork's"  that walk through my store's front door trying to sell me some wacky item or service.

We received a call from Main Street Processing yesterday. The caller's name was LaQuita. She wanted to know about our credit card processing rate. She said she is an account manager and was reviewing our rates to insure that our processing company was not charging us more than the average industry rate of 2%. However, the manager wasn't in and I told her that I would have to get back to her on that. She called again this morning, but again the manager wasn't in. Then she asked if I had the merchant #, which is printed on every receipt so I didn't mind giving it to her, but before I was able to give her the merchant number she asked if I had the tax ID number, last four digit of the taxpayer SSN#, and the bank account number. I didn't give her that information though and she said she'll call back later to talk to the manager and get tax ID number and other information.

I don't if this is a scam or not, but I would advise caution. There is something not right about this company.

I received a phone call three days ago from MAIN STREET PROCESSING.  I don't know if I did wrong but I faxed them over my credit card statement.  I did it because I feel that my current company is over charging for the service.  They seem to be a serious company, but I still don't know what to do.  Should I switch over to this company?  I need advice
