Damn!  I started this thread and because I'm old and senile, I forgot to block the number.  They just called back.  No message.  Must be just another robodialing criminal.  I WILL NOT forget to block the number this time.  Thanks to those who took time to post.

Received unsolicited phone from following number 214-283-8974

A teller markeiting call from a "walk in bath tub company" and (there are more than one) !!  Using the term that scammers use: We will be in your area next week and will give you a "FREE quote" that is good for ever, even if you do not buy today !!  They want inside your house to measure your "bath tub area" in order to give you this "FREE quote" !! (Also to chase your home for what you own) !!
Block the number and report it !!

Calls everyday…..I just let the phone ring.  Tired of scamming calls.

Says Unknown Name when calling. I didn't answer call. Caller left no message. I contacted Texas Attorney General Office's about the call and reported the number. I'm on the Do Not Call List.

3:49 pm on October 9, 2014 – Received call from “Out of Area” phone number 214-283-8974. I didn't answer call. Although the caller left no message, the male caller did say my name on the recording. The caller knew who was being contacted. I contacted Texas Attorney General Office's about the call and reported the number. I'm on the “Do Not Call List.” FIGHT BACK. Contact your State Attorney General's Office!!!

Dallas TX on caller ID.  It was the biggest mess of garbled conversation I ever heard but picked up on walk in bathtub.  It was like they had several conversations going at the same time, a scrambled mess, but I did hear one name mentioned.  Not mine.

Got a call from this number again today and found out they are from "walk in bathtubs"  not interested in getting one of those, and did not answer my phone when I don't know who's calling and have turned off my answering machine so these idiots cannot leave me a message, not that I would ever call them back.

Called, I didn't answer, no message left.  Thaks to the infor here, it's now blocked.

Called my home today while I was at work. Asked my mother if I had made a sale at Pet Co for $13.00.
I called the number back when I got home tonight, And it went to a voice machine that said (The person who is at ext :1 is not available). Don't  like this kind of stupid stuff, help stop crime and report calls like this.
