Got a call from Jack Hoffman (Indian accent) calling from the IRS saying there was a warrant out for my arrest. Lol, total scam! The IRS does NOT call anyone, if they need to contact you they do it via U.S. Mail!!!

Hi, same thing happened to me... Same Indian guy and same british Indian accent... Aggressive and rude ! I can't believe life has come to this... Apparently it must be working for them to get money from people or they wouldn't continue ! Horrible scam!!!!

I got a call from a so call officer investigating me FROM IRS...really???? People please don't fall for this!

I got the call too!  Twice at that.  They are barking up the wrong tree!  No IRS problems here.  Sorry Officer Hoffman crawl back in your hole.

Thick Middle Eastern (possible Indian) accent, with same thing as above: Officer Hoffman, Officer White, warrant out for my arrest, needed to at least pay 50% of $2,150, and my refusal to pay would result in an officer at my home in 30-40min who would be arresting me. If I did want to pay I needed to pay the IRS "directly" using a Moneygram!! I also would be visited by a Government CPA at my home that day who would allow me to pay and sign paperwork.

My mother received a msg from officer Jeff Hoffman from IRS stating a warrant will be placed for her arrest, she's 75 years old and has never broken any law in her life!!!  I called the same number back the following morning to investigate, but noone answered when I blocked my number.  I called again without blocking my number and hung up after five rings.  A second later, "Officer John White" with an Asian Indian called and stated his name and that he was calling from the IRS.  I quickly said Oh really?  I've been reading about you online and I know that you're a scam so take my number off your list! As soon as I said the word scam he disconnected the call.  Terrible terrible people!

I've received three calls from Officer Jeff Hoffman.  When I'd call back no answer.  When they called me back,the man identified himself as Officer White. I told him not to call again, I've already turned there phone number into the IRS, and the Texas police.  He hung up on me.  Scum.

At least 3 calls in four days. This is a criminal scam.

I just got a call - left message.  Same as the rest - Indian Accent, Warrant, Arrest, Pay Now!  Hah!  Number is now blocked.

Just got the call from Officer Jack Hoffman who said their was a warrant out for my arrest for non-payment of taxes.  He had a strong Indian accent.  Ididnot call back because I don't owe any taxes to begin with.  SCAM!!!!!!

Same thing. Another IRS phone call scam.

Got the same idiot calling me tried to call back and it just rang and rang and rang too bad because I was going to give him a piece of my mind. I'm going to get  as much information on this idiot as possible and turn his butt in.

Got two calls, two hours apart from Officer Jeff Hoffman with heavy accent.  Barely could understand the message.
IRS is putting me under investigation, unhuh along with the rest of the world apparently.

Same call here; 3 messages on the answering machine.  Office Hoffman says my home is under investigation, I need to call immediately.  I never answer a number I don't recognize and the first thing I do is a reverse number lookup.  This is the best darn thing ever.  Reverse Lookup.
