called and once I said company name hung up - another scam I guess

They called and asked for the head of household. I asked who he was looking for and he kept saying head of household- Obviously a scam. The guy was asking for money for a veterans group. First of all, I don't give money out like that and second, how did he get my number?!? Scam! Number has been blocked.

Called asked for my ex husband ( we have been divorced for 13 years).
My ex is a veteran, so possibly they are working off a list of veterans, etc.
I have had the same phone # for many years
When I said no, they were quick to hang up.

Just called by cell phone at 7:51--Did not leave a message.  I'm getting way to many of these calls and they are starting to get smart and use local numbers...

Asked for the head of the household. I lied and told them it's a business and they claim they'll update their records.

Called my cell very early in the morning, when I answered they simply stated 'is the head of the household there'...so obviously I said no, his immediate response was 'I'll just try back later' and hung up as I was asking who they were trying to find. Gotta love early morning scammers.

I answered and the voice on the line asked for "the head of the household". I didn't know if they were looking for a particular person or just the head of any random family, so I asked, "Which house?" The voice (which sounded like an automated response to me) basically repeated the question, asking if "the man or lady of the house was available"? I again asked which house he was referring to, and he said they'd call back another time  and hung up.

Just got a call from this number....didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I live in the Houston area and I don't know anyone in the DFW area. Blocked!

Got the same request.

Called me 6 times since 9am. I answered the final time to get them to stop. I told them to take me off the list and he said no. Along with some very vulgar comments. So along with saying they won't stop calling, I was sexually harassed.

Have called my cell numerous times.  Leave a "message" but it's dead air.  I don't answer.
