Called me too!

They just called me (11:16 AM PST 3/19/2011).  I answered and screamed into the phone mic as loud as I could, and then hung up  :-)

I received a call (which I send straight to voicemail) from this company, which had a recording offering me a cruise.

Called me this morning

they didn't leave a message

Called my cell at 8:00 at night; did not answer and they did not leave a message

Yeah they just called my Cell F'ing A'holes

They called me too and I answered without looking since it was my cell and only friends and family call me on my cell.   woo-hoo!  I "won" a fake cruise.   [***].   They hung up on me.   I called them back from my land line number, over and over again and have my 8 year old pressing redial every time it answers and hangs up.   Eventually the fun of that will wear off for me and I'll quit.  I might call until I get a real person though and let them know that they have reached the Tarrant County (TX) Sheriff's Department  (a lie - but......so what).

I would like to know how to stop calls like this.   If anyone knows - please post it.

After receiving the same call and seeing everyone's posts, I've decided to do the same as Kelly above.  I'm now going to harass them.   I've googled everything to see how to stop people like this but all I'm really seeing is complaints.  It doesn't appear that anyone is doing anything other than putting up places for us to vent.   So, I"m going the other route.   I may actually give a fake credit card number just to be able to get the name of the company.   I'll act all excited, etc. about winning.  I'll post the results.

they get your number from your friends. if you or just one of your friends (that has your phone number in their contacts) uses Pandora or Weather bug or any one of the countless free apps available, they have your name and number.

these apps go thru your contacts and uploads the names and numbers to whomever is willin to pay for the info

Why did they call you "Cell." The person I spoke to was very kind and referred to me by my first name.

They've called me 7 times, and everytime I answer I ask them to take me off of their call list, and they hang up on me...anybody know how to block this number?

they are breaking the law as my number is on the national do not call list, as if they care they are scammers, spammers anyway

All are Bogus.
The phone company does NOT list caller id with city state.

I got the call on my majic jack phone

telemarketer offering cruise deal. Left automated voicemail message.
