TD Jakes Ministry shows in caller ID.....214-506-7155 or 7166.  Every day for weeks.  I answered a couple times and got disconnected.  Now 4 rings, no message.  Is it really this Ministry (which I don't want calling either) or some bill collector using a phony name?  Anyone else get these?

TD Jakes Ministry shows in display as a private number.  I think this is a call me back number used illegally.

Caller ID shows TDJakesMinistry. Caller hung up without leaving a message once the answering machine picked up the call.

  214-506-7155  Called and said TD Jakes Ministries. Bishop Jakes has recorded a special message for his partners and friends. Can I play the message for you? Replied, Yes.
She never played a message but rather the call was terminated.

Sounds very suspect.
Bishop Jakes would never be part of something questionable but their are people who would use his excellent reputation and name for selfish purposes.

Receiving calls various times of the day from 214-506-7155 and 214-506-7166. So far no message has been left from the caller for either number. My caller ID shows TDJAKESMINISTRY. Not sure why TD Jakes ministry would call and not leave a message of some sort.

Rec'd three calls from this number, no message left. Appears to be scam attempt.

Keeps calling and not leaving a message for the past two weeks now. I think this is false representation.

They called, I picked and they asked for my wife by name.  They said that TD Jakes had a message for her.  I told them I don't know how you got this number, but you are calling my office and this is my phone, do not call again.  They seemed to be upset and said they would mark it as a wrong number.  Would a ministry have people at their call bank get upset that easily?  Wouldn't a ministry instruct people at a call bank if they were going to get upset - to terminate the call so the person wouldn't hear it?

That brings me to my final question: Is this really TD Jake's ministry or someone trying to use his reputation to scam money from people. DO NOT EVER GIVE AN UNSOLICITED PHONE CALL YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD NUMBERS.....EVER!!!!!!!

Call supposedly from TDJakes ministry. Total scam as he never calls anyone foe solicitation. Left no message.

214-506-7155 has been calling our house for the last month. Same as everybody above; they wouldn't leave a message. Today, I decided to answer it with my voice. They asked for my wife and I said she wasn't available. I asked him to state his business. He continue on with his "robotic skit" of how he was a representative of the TD Jakes Ministry. I stated again she wasn't available and this time I told him, "you can talk to me about it, I'm her husband". He went back to, "I must speak with her."
Red Flag #1: As big as TD Jakes Ministry is and you're posing as a solicitor; why does the caller I.D. read "Anonymous"?
Red Flag #2: Most ministries I know from evangelizing usually welcomes the fact that they can talk to the husband or the other spouse. It's all about claiming souls and opening up the opportunity of salvation to them. Not only did he not want to talk to me, he became very agitated. He wanted to get off the phone with me.
Red Flag #3: I turned it around and offered him salvation and repentance for deception. To prey on vulnerable people who would be willing to give to a ministry and don't use it for the purposes presented and intended is wrong. He didn't like that at all as he became very huffy (something he grumbled under his lip) and he hung up. I'm a minister. His biggest mistake was he didn't want to include me and I'm the responsible one for the family. My wife and I give together, not separately. He try to separate us in giving to God. If he calls you, speak the name Jesus. Either he'll get off real quick and never call again or you have an opportunity before you to offer salvation.

I received a call from this number, but when I said hello the caller hung up.

I just got off the phone with them. I do not think TDJakes ministry would ever have someone call and ask for $30.00 to reach the lost souls. When I said NO the guy started to ask me for a lower amount. I hung up on him... I do not think this is TDJakes ministry

2nd call in 2 days.  Let go to voicemail. No messages left.

Called yesterday and again today.  Unknown caller. No message left.

Answered and none on other end

No message.

I've had a call almost every night from this number- it is late too. Right before 9pm. No message ever.

Not answered. No message.  Spam.
