Received a call from this number. When I answered ... they hung up.

Hung up when I answered.

Hang up call. Blocked.

This number called me on my cell phone and claimed to be the Main Processing Center for Motor Vehicle Assurance Protection Plans and was trying to sell me a protection plan for the van I purchased in 2016. Wanted $750, $550 or $350 down and then I could make payments of $302 for 10 months or payments of $164 for 18 months for a total plan payment of $3,640.  When I said I would have to check the company out before I sent any money anywhere for anything they hung up.  When I tried to call back the line was busy every time I called it.

This # called me. I did not answer. After that I check Google this number and confirm that scam call.  Now I blocked it.

Wished to confirm ownership of a vehicle I have never owned presumably to sell an aftermarket warranty.
