Caller id was TRANSMERIT MERR.  Didn't hear the phone ring.  Found this on the incoming call list.  No idea who/what this is.

I think this might be TRANSMERIT MERCHANT SERVICES, one of those companies that offers credit card processing.  What maroons.

This is a scammer spoofing another company. I contacted the company and they are trying to get to the bottom of the scam and thanked me for
the information.

Just got a call at our business from TRANSMERIT MERCHANT SERVICES started right in with telling me when they were going to be at our office to verify our services, wanted office manager name and address of company. VERY AGGRESSIVE and RUDE!!

This unidentified lady called asking for my the owner of the business.  When I told her he does not talk to callers unless they have a car in our shop, she said she would just go find another shop. Yay for her!!

Claimed to be from Pivitol Payments my real credit card folks. Called Pivitol they knew nothing of this except that they had other complaints about them . They are NOT Pivitol.

Called and left no message.....glad I didn't answer

Rude sales associate, I told him to remove us from his call list, he said he is our provider(which they aren't)and there is no list. Sure!

This person needs to be apprehended! This is DEFINITELY A SCAM! When I told her owner was not available she started playing games and hung up. When I called back the very same person answered and when i asked her to take me off her call list she started playing games with me again. When I told her I was calling the attorney generals office she didn't know what to say and i hung up. TOTAL SCAM!

We just received a call from TRANS MERRITT MERCHANT SERVICES. "Dave" began by saying that he's representing our merchant service account. He said a representative will be in our area and needed to stop in to update our merchant service terminals because terms and information has changed. He was very rude and insisted that their representative needed to stop in for 10 minutes, and was only available tomorrow at any time I wanted.

I told him I'd prefer to talk directly to our merchant service company so I will get the updated information from them or look it up online. He asked "Who is your merchant service provider?" after telling me that he was representing my merchant service company at the beginning of the call. I said, "You told me your company is representing my merchant services, shouldn't you already know who they are? I'm not interested." and hung up. SCAM/SCAMMER!!!

Somebody asking for the owner (been there a thousand times) I asked why, she tells me something about credit card processing, I tell her he is not going to take the call, she insists, at this point I put her on speaker phone and said "I could make it happen but he is the type that wants something in return." She responded "I'll be sending a rep, what's his soft spot?" I replied "make sure she's blonde, he enjoys a good BJ". She said: we don't do that! I responded "he also likes anal, that's how I got a raise". She hangup! The entire office heard the conversation and 3 days later everyone is still laughing about it. A great moral booster for a boring job. The store owner (a 70 years young woman) heard about it and gave me a pat in the back, saying that those idiots are costing her a lot of money!

These people are super rude. They have loud and obnoxious people who talk way to fast to be understood (probably part of the ploy). They are immediately aggressive and demand to speak to the owner. These calls should be used for your entertainment purposes as an employee. Put them on hold for eternity, bark at them, whatever floats your boat.
It is clearly a telemarketing/scam call of the worst kind. Might as well annoy them back.

Mouthy lady called asking for business owner by name. There was a lot of background noise on her end. I told her he wasn't in today and she said, "Well, may I speak to the co-owner." I said, "This is she." She said, "I'm calling from transmerit and was wondering if you still use the processor for payments." I said, "Are you our credit card processor?" She didn't seem to understand so I asked her again. She came back with some BS that she works for my credit card company but didn't know the name. I told her we are not interested in anything they are offering and hung up.
She called right back and one of our mechanics answered the phone. She asked if she could speak to the rude b**** that hung up on her. He told her we aren't interested and she continued to yell about something and he told her again we aren't interested and hung up.

I just got a call from this number (didn't answer) and have been reading over the other responses. I should have answered it just to have some fun. I use to have a business, but folded it about three years ago. It would have been fun to have them tell me they want to check my services or do something with my credit card processing. Even when I was in business I didn't use a credit card terminal or use any outside services of this type. Wonder how far they would have tried to take it???

Didn't really introduce herself when called.  Simply asked to speak to the owner which of course triggered a sales call in my mind.  I just hung up.

this caller MERCHANT SERVICE keeps calling back to back.  Have told them not to call, needless to say they keep calling anyway.

Caller ID says 214-702-5175  Merchant Services and is number  a FRAUD trying to get your Merchant Account number.  Report this number if they call immediately.

We received the call in both shops today.

They call us about every 3 weeks about our credit processing account and i have told them, i dont have one and have never had one. They are ruthless. This is a FRAUD, dont give them any info
