Another gatekeeper at the office I'm with received this call yesterday & actually stayed on the line with the caller a few minutes, reiterating that we aren't moving, we've recently moved (a lie), and that we aren't moving. I told her when I get these calls I say it once & hang up.
I don't get what their scam is, though.

Called asking about our central office move and new school(s) being built.   I told them we weren't  moving and no new schools.  I  asked how she rec'd that information.  She said from an inquiry!  I hung up on her.

Once the phone is answered a fast talking woman asks you regarding an upcoming move and ends it with a question "is that correct"?.  I asked her who she was, "Miriam".  She couldn't say the company name very well, she said "Broth Business Group".  Everyone else on the stream is saying "Business Connection"?  She asked me again if the information that we were moving was correct.  Told her couldn't give that information and thanked her for the call.  So, we are all questioning, "What is the purpose of this call"?

I've gotten this call at the office I'm a gatekeeper for & usually tell them we aren't moving then hang up. Next time i think I'll give them a date just to see what the heck their scam is because i haven't been able to figure it out.

Received a call from a woman sounding very official who began grilling me about a move. They don't identify themselves at all. They are strangers, calling and asking questions and acting like they have the right to do so. When you say there is no move scheduled, they question you like you're trying to keep a secret from them. Very strange and irritating.

Caller said a business name so quickly I couldn't understand - calling about our "upcoming move". I said I was not aware of a move - she said her info indicated we are opening another branch in the area - I said then you know something I don't - she hung up

Native English speaking female caller "Hi I'm calling from Growth Index Group, we are sending you a packet regarding your upcoming move, are you still able to receive a package at (address)"

Just had a 9 minute convo with young lady wanting to send us a guide on moving our office.  Thought I would waste her time.  She didn't know our company name and couldn't pronounce the city.  I asked where her company was located and she said she wouldn't tell me where she lived - LOL.  She had no idea what she was talking about it and got angry with my questions and finally said this was the longest she had ever had to be on a call.  I told her that was because everyone usually hangs up on her.  She eventually quit trying to get a name and hung up.

These scammers are back at it again. same old grift about your business moving.

We were called about moving and we have actually been looking at other places.  When asked how she got the information, she said it was an online survey.  No one at the office has filled out an online survey

Total Spam call -female from Index Growth Grp, about upcoming move

Sandy from Growth Index Group just called, 06/14/2023, wanting information that she will not get.

Same call from Growth... about upcoming move -- asked who did they think they were calling and who their contact was here that informed them about a move -- hung up on me -- tried calling the number back on no answer

A woman with this number called allegedly from "Growth Index Group" asking about our next move and contact information. She kept probing for information like number of people at this new location, etc but I repeated that I don't have any information. I should've asked her questions to see if that would prompt a hang-up.

Only the phone number came on the display.  The woman did not introduce herself or provide a company name.  All she asked were questions about our company moving.  "Are you still planning on moving?"  I told her wrong info, wrong company.  Never heard anything else so I hung up.

Same. Asking about my moving date. And all the time she's talking I can hear roosters cockadoodledoo in the background :-D

Same experience -- caller showed up as WIRELESS CALLER on my caller ID, but I was able to find the number 215-356-6416 in my call log. Asked about our upcoming move, or the upcoming move of one of our other sites. They didn't give a business name.

Middle eastern or indian woman calls. Goes by name of "angel" and company she names is unknown - something with a 'w'. Asks when we are moving our office. Iask a question. She goes "but you are moving yes?" i say no and question again and she hangs up. I think the scammer is trying to get you to say the word "yes" out loud so be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
