Debt-collector scum.  Pursuing ancient debts not even collectible anymore.  Will threaten and intimidate.  Do yourself a favor: BLOCK or IGNORE.  These low lifes can't do a thing to you.

Except in two states, debts are collectible for eternity.  Stating that they are "not even collectible anymore" is extremely misleading to people.  Now "threaten and intimidate" is illegal.

Sorry but you're wrong!! After 15 years it's a write off. They could keep trying but you're under no obligation to pay!!

Absolutely not true.  Try not to make stuff up.  Lying makes you look like a fool and right now you look like a huge fool.  Of course you could prove me wrong by providing me with a Federal law that says that using a reliable, verifiable citation.  I doubt that you can do that just as I doubt that you could even provide me with an actual State law citation.

In regard to shooting your mouth off - google "STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON DEBT" - you'll find that all states have these statutes, usually running 3, 4, or 6 years.  They cover everything but federal taxes, child support and education loans.  All other debts expire per statute.  What zombie debt collector employs you, big mouth?

Why don't you Google it instead and find out what it actually means? Then you won't come across as a clueless troll who keeps returning to insist his inaccurate information is correct.

No debt collector employees me.  The Statute of Limitations, which by the way goes from 3 years to 15 years governs how long that they have to sue you in 48 states.  In Wisconsin and Mississippi the debt expires with the end of the SOL.  Once again you have run your mouth off and now have made yourself look like a huge, huge, huge fool.  I know it hurts for you to not be so bright and that you didn't want to hear the truth but instead wanted to mislead people.  The only people who would want the truth not to be heard and would want to purposely mislead people would actually be debt collectors.  Guess we now know who you work for.

Oh, and by the way, posting under multiple screen names proves that you are a loser troll trying to spread lies.

Looks like Vince H has taken to posting disgusting insult posts that are being removed by the mods. Not very bright, and certainly very, very childish. Like a 2-year-old throwing a temper tantrum.

Someone called trying to collect some debt related to a car loan.  Since I haven't owned a car in 30 years, suspect they're scamming people.  Got very pushy when I denied any knowledge of whatever loan they were talking about.  Best bet: hang up and block.

When you take out a car loan, you give the lender the title to the car and they put a lien on the vehicle.  When you don't pay the loan the lender repo's the vehicle.  End of story.  No debt collectors involved.

Which validates my suspicion that these people are either scammers or zombie debt collectors who couldn't care less about legality - that's what zombie collectors do: go after debts that are too ancient to successfully sue over or go after totally fictitious debts.
