this number and other 215 numbers are coming from Levittown , Pa and whoever the caller is, most of the time they don't even talk when you answer, they hang up. if they do talk they either are trying to scam you out of money or are trying to get personal info from you.  if you can block the number, do it. i wish there was some way of stopping this kind of thing. unfortunately there are a lot of sick minds out there. so even if you stop one there are too many others out there

States they are with PBFI and are collecting funds for the Police Benevolent Fund.  It is a Robocall - there is no live person.  You can talk away and the message just continues.  TBI, I am not sure this is a legitimate call.

called my home phone 5/3 at 6:18PM. I didn't answer the call and there was a message left on the machine of a guy asking for someone with a different name that I don't know, and saying are you there, hello, are you there. I have been getting these same calls, but from different people asking for the same person and leaving the same messages for a couple weeks now. I don't know if I should answer or not. You figure they would give up after almost two weeks.

Police Benevolent Fund looking for my money. Scam? Blocked it

The caller I.D. reads "Line Lexington, PA" and a real live man with what sounds like a bad southern drawl he uses for a part in bad community theater. I've gotten this guy same other years too. (Now, I'll block it!) He asks if he can send you a form for a "one time only" donation to help families of fallen police officers. Last year I let him go through his whole script then told him, "I don't donate by phone, and I don't donate to third parties who take a cut of my donation. If ever I donate, I'll donate directly to the township police department I choose to donate."  His response that time was a glib, "maybe you'll be in a better mood next year." and he hung up.  This year I again let him run through his script and when he asked "Can we count on you?" I simply said "no" and hung up. Off to block (215) 716-9092!!

No message left. Now blocked.

Received a call from 215-716-9092 and the message said Hello Patricia and then nothing.  I immediately placed the phone number in the find for Google and it lead to this site.  Read your messages.  I returned the phone call and a message stated if you want to remove your number press 2.  I did so and the message stated that my phone number has been removed from their list.  Just don't understand.

You should NEVER call them back and you should DEFINITELY never press any key to "have your number removed". All you're doing is confirming a valid phone number and can expect more such calls in the future.

Got a call a couple of times from this number from Levittown, PA. I live in Yardley, PA, very nearby. When I tried to call the number back, nothing, . . . no ringing, nothing. That's when I knew it was a fraud call. Tonight they tried to call again, realizing it was a fraud I answered. A man asked for me by name and asked if I were home. I said "NOPE, and you are a scamming criminal" and hung up. The caller ID says "None."

called tonight at 8:58pm, caller ID showed "Home".  No message on answering machine.
