The number appears to be owned by "Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company".

I called to get the free information from their television ad. Instead of sending the company information they called me FIVE times a day everyday until I called back to see what they wanted. I was put through to the line to order the free information package.

A caller from 215-928-8000 id'd as "Colonial Penn L" repeatedly calls my residence approximately every 90 minutes beginning at 8:30 am until about 8:55 pm daily.  No contacts were requested by this resident.

I received calls from this number at my work daily, but somehow never when I was at my desk.  When I called and asked them to remove me from the list, they said I would have to wait until they called me again and got me on the phone before they could take me off the list.  I did not initiate any contact with this company, and even if I had, I would not have given them my work telephone number.

I don't know who these people are.  They keep going me all times of the night asking for peersonal information.  Someone needs to put a stop to these people.  This is unsettling anoying.

Get these people off my phone. They call 20 times a day

Dear Mr. Deen Jr.:

I wish to bring to your attention a Colonial Penn marketing practice which disturbs me.  I’ve only had your product for two months now and have automatic deductions for my premium.

In the past few days I have received a couple calls from 215-928-8000 which went to my answering machine with no message left.  The most recent unanswered call came in at 8:28 pm last night.  

In researching the phone number on the Internet, I found several complaints registered by people receiving like calls.  The number was listed to Colonial Penn.  

Today at 11:25 am, I received another call and answered it.  The female caller identified that she was calling on behalf of Colonial Penn and wanted to “verify some information.”  If she would have asked me for the information, I would not have supplied it.   However, she afforded me the information (name, date of birth, address and phone) and I just verified it.

The question that came to mind was what could have changed in two months? (my name?, my date of birth?, sure, maybe my address, but my phone number?...she just called me!  

As she continued, I then realized it was a “marketing ploy” to get me to purchase more insurance AND, here’s the kicker, to give her some of my friend’s names who might want your products so I could be entered into a contest!  

Has this what it has come to these days?  Is competition that bad that Colonial Penn has to use such deceiving, bothersome, unsolicited phone calls to current customers to get more business?  Shame on Colonial Penn.

I just got a call from this number about 5mins ago whats up with it is it some kind of scam. The first time i got one and googled it and this sight is what found. What do need to do to stop it before it gets out of hand.

I've got calls from this number (215-928-8000), which originates from a debt collector representing Patriot Loan Company.  They got my number from a loan application that my son submitted on a loan request; now that he hasn't paid them back, they call me constantly asking for his current phone number and address.  I just tell them that they won't get any information from me, since its not my loan.  < Glenn A Russell > russellguy1305@yahoo.com.
