I said hello three times. Nothing. No response. This number has called before.

Call is a recording but the way they have it set-up at first you think it is a real person. I thought it was a client, so when they said my name I responded yes? The recording then went on to say 'Getting a hold of you is worst than trying to get a hold of my husband'. Then the recording goes into the pitch about mailing out fliers. Hung up. Very misleading and sketchy new way telemarketers are trying to weasel their way in.

This is the "Yes" scam. They want you to answer "yes" so  they can record it and use it for other things. Beware

Same call as others have reported. I thought it was my friend because the call used my first name and a pause, it was a recorded message so I hung up. Unfortunately I answered "yes?".... I hope it doesn't bite me later.

This number has called my home a number of times saying someone's name that doesn't even live here..........when they say the name and you say NO it says ok no message and it is automated so you can't get anywhere with the call..............

Same type of scam call as reported by others! Do not answer! I blocked caller immediately!

Just called me at work.  It showed up on my phone as Women's Can....and I thought it had something to do with the Women's Center I work with.  The number was also local.  They said is "Hi is this Mindy", and I said Yes.  They said they were from the Women's Cancer Fund and could I make even the smallest donation.  I told them I already supported cancer.  They were grateful and said even the smallest donation could help.  They put me on hold to sent it to another line to be verified, whereby they tried to get me to give my credit card information.  They weird thing about the call was that even though you felt that you were speaking to a real person it was obviously a serious of prompted recorded responses.  It really felt like a scam.  I can find no information about this group online.  Beware!  This call did not feel legit. It felt like they were scamming me for my credit card information.

Just got the same thing, it "seemed" like a person saying my name and then "Oh I'm glad I got a person, I'm sick of answering machines HA HAHA".  So of course I thought it was real... it's not.  Got all the way through to the verify part where they wanted a credit card... hung up and blocked the number.

The first time I got a call from the number nothing came up in the caller id but the number.  When I did not pick up the fax got it.  I then listened in and they wanted donation for the blind.  A week later the same number came up in caller id as cancer inst.  I just had a proceedure done and waiting biopsy.  I picked up thinking the news came in.  I got through a short time before i realized it was not results.  Beaware of how they get the id to come up as cancer inst and call after people get procedures done fearing cancer.  You obviously will pick up and answer yes if you are waiting to find out if you have cancer.  Hip laws are another concern here.

Let this call go to voicemail, and Surprise! No message left. Number is now blocked.

Got a call asking for _____ who lives here, just by first name.
But the red flag is, it's an over seas call.  Caller ID showed 11 in front of the number.
This is just a scam, do not answer yes to any question or your phone will get charged.

I was not able to get to the phone in time so I checked voice mail.  No message was left.

I didn't answer but they left a voicemail saying it was with IRS about tax fraud and it was the final attempt to call me the avoid going to jail contact them. It was a recording.

Caller asked for a donation to the Woman's Cancer Fund to covrr the costs of birth control for ill women to allow them to enjoy sex without worrying about becoming pregnant! Call blocked this scam.

Just got this call also, I've been scammed & hacked twice so just held the phone to see who it was.  Kept repeating my name & asked if I was there.  Just waited to see if they would give me a name, so just laid the phone down until they hung up.  Please people, make sure you know who you are talking to & watch what websites you go into.

They didnt say anything, so i hung up.
