Man asked for my husband. I asked who was calling. He said it is Asset Acceptance debt collector and he is calling regarding my husband's debt. This is not true. I know my husband's credit report. It's clean. This company is phishing for information. Beaware!

Also got a call from this number that my answering machine picked up. The message started out as a recording, then a woman repeated "hello" a couple times.

This number called me at least one time every week. Since I know it is not a good number, I have never picked up.

This number calls repeatedly without leaving a message.

Rec'd call on my cell phone, missed the call, no message.

Calls from this phone are a shady bill collector with out dated info that will call over and over even after you tell them it's a wrong number. Till you threaten to sue..

They called today.  3/22 for the former owner of our home who we know has numerous deadbeat credit issues.  It went to v-mail, I called back the 216-744-1102 number, immediately got a person and they told me they would remove the number from the system  They apparently map addresses to a current listings databases and probably pull old credit/cell phone company records by purchasing them to track people down.

Seemed pleasant enough, if they call back I'll let you know, otherwise I suggest you answer if yo uhave no credit problems and tell them it's a new number and "go look for your deadbeat elsewhere."

Unidentified person. Collection agency with wrong information demanding payment.

Very crappy line, always cuts out, can't understand a word these idiots try to even say!! Keeps calling me, even though I've told them the person they want is NOT at my number.  They ask for Frank Wells.  So Frank from Toledo, if you are reading this, learn to give out your proper phone number to people, you ignorant douchbag!!

Called this morning no message.

Call and hang up, call leave message asking for personal info.

War dialer, so answers are followed by a short pause before caller picks up. The caller asks for my full name, I reply "yes, that's me", then asks to confirm my SSN. Not happening, "Click". Second call left a recorded message to call back. Returned call, Caller is requesting errant debt (I have had two credits total in 10 years, both great standings). Asked to be removed. Still calls weekly for the past 2 months. I ignore, no messages left.

This is to my cell phone, and not my publicly listed land line. I do not report the cell phone number on any application or other methods which connect me to this number (besides the provider for billing of course) and have had this mobile number for 4 years.

Just sounds shady, or just another plain bad collections business. Phishing?

Keeps calling every few weeks.  Doesn't even leave voice mail.

call this morning.  left no voice mail so I guessing its  not important.  this is not the first time they have called I am sure it won't be the last.  thank goodness I have these posts to read so I no its nothing that I should worry about.

Wife saw call number on missed calls. Called the number back got message this was Asset Acceptance but couldnt take the call then. Only have received one phone so far. Have forwarded this information and the link to all these notes about the call to the Ohio Attorney General's office to investigate.

Call today, no-one talked, just hung up on my wife.

This number calling us evey day at 8:00am. Don't have no idea what to do.

Got a call from a computer/recording tonight and my husband picked up and they we're saying they were calling about a debt.  They also started to repeat address information which was correct but had other incorrect information to start so he hung up.
