Says they are some kind of mortage company, didn't sound very professional

received as "out of area" and did not answer when I picked up

These calls are from free adds placed on Craigslist. If you respond with your # on adds for a free item, or even a for sale item
that is usually priced way low, you will start getting calls like this.These people are scam artists. Best bet is not to answer the call and they will stop. Use judgement with adds that are too good to be true. : )

never responded or placed a craigslist ad in my life, still got a call. didnt answer. second call in a week from these guys

I have never placed or responded to an ad on Craigs List so I'm sure that can't be it.  No message left, just repeated calls today, 3 so far.

We applied for a Mortgage about 6 months ago and since one of the first comments mentioned Mortgage company, I am guessing that is most likely the answer.

left a message that was just silence. Caller id says unknown.

Multiple calls, no voicemail.  They'll continue to be routed to voicemail, let them waste their time....

Called my twice today and left silent 5 second messages on my voice mail each time. Calling them back results in a recording that says "You have reached a national marketing firm. Please leave your name and number to be removed." followed by another message that says "Sorry, this user cannot receive any more voice mails."

So apparently these [***] plan to just keep calling me multiple time every day, without ever identifying themselves or giving me any chance to request that they stop this illegal harassment.

Caller sounded elderly. When I picked up, he asked for a friend of mine. Before I could respond, he hung up. Called number back, got same message as above..."

This person calls our phone all the time there is nobody when I pick up.

I haven't used Craigs List either.  Call was from No Name.  Got it on my cell phone which I ONLY use to call or text family if I'm not by my home phone.  Only people with my number are about 5 family members.  Likely is .calling random numbers
